East Coast Invitational - Players To Monitor in Pools C/D

With team camp season in full swing in the month of June, one of the most prestigious events is the East Coast Invitational. The four day event brings 36 teams to ENC, with plenty of competition and team bonding awaiting them. It's going to be a camp full of talent and high level bump, so check out players to watch in Pools C and D (as well as our predictions on how teams will finish in pool play).   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Pool C Teams (In Order of Predicted Finish)</h3>   Millbrook   Washington   Apex Friendship   Richmond County   White Oak   Independence   Hoggard   Jacksonville   Wallace Rose-Hill   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Players to Watch</h3>   [player_tooltip player_id='1272558' first='Colt' last='Langdon'] - Lengthy wing that shoots the absolute cover off the ball. Also has good positional size and ball skills which allows him to play multiple spots on the floor and do a lot of different things within an offense. Going to be a HM player when he commits soon.   [player_tooltip player_id='1280985' first='Chaise' last='Smith'] - Explosive, downhill guard that's always look to get a paint touch or make a play around the rim. Getting a lot better as a creator, defender, and all-around guy versus just scoring the ball. Going to be a premier talent in the 2026 class, and should be in line for big numbers.   [player_tooltip player_id='2206385' first='Evan' last='Dean'] - Another long lefty wing who's an incoming transfer to Millbrook. Streaky shot maker but is one of the hottest guys in the gym every time he gets going. A little stiff but will be a solid athlete at the next level. Small college target for coaches to monitor.   [player_tooltip player_id='1238111' first='AJ' last='Gladieux'] - Combo guard that can create or score, but I'd say he's more of a knockdown shooter at first. Got good size and can play multiple positions in the backcourt. Should be a target for D1 or D2 schools in the region.   [player_tooltip player_id='1226607' first='Curtis' last='Jackson'] - Really shifty, change of pace guard that likes to get to the cup and make things happen inside the arc. Also a guy who likes to pick up defensively with pressure, using his athleticism to stay in front.   [player_tooltip player_id='1225666' first='Jayzion' last='Davis'] - Really physical, wing/forward combo that does everything you'd want around the basket on both ends. Strong rebounder, post defender and finisher, mostly because of his physical attributes. Going to become a leading piece on the inside for Hoggard this upcoming year.   [player_tooltip player_id='2268801' first='Hunter' last='Mcgrath'] - Going to be a perimeter scorer of the future down in Wilmington, already has shown he can make threes at a high clip at the HS level. Smooth, calm, and runs the offense/handles the ball in a composed manner consistently.   [player_tooltip player_id='1220089' first='Jamison' last='Avila'] - Shifty guard that is offensively diverse, able to knock down shots from the perimeter or on the dribble. Been lighting it up from deep with [program_tooltip program_id='2078505' first='Mid' last='State Magic'] so far this summer and should have a big senior year.   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Pool D Teams (In Order of Predicted Finish)</h3>   Olympic   Southwest Onslow   Croatan   Ashley   Willow Springs   West Carteret   West Cabarrus   Coastal Christian   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Players to Watch</h3>   [player_tooltip player_id='2268798' first='Cannon' last='DeBerry'] - Thin, growing forward that has nice vertical pop and springiness around the rim. Plays with a pretty good motor, and also has a little growing post game with some touch.   [player_tooltip player_id='1990353' first='Rue' last='Chapman'] - Quick lead guard that continues to post big numbers in ENC. Good distributor but likes to really score it too, mostly inside of the arc.   [player_tooltip player_id='2298572' first='Trey' last='Jones'] - Do-it-all point guard this year at Croatan who has the chance to be a big time player next year. Smooth scorer who continues to shoot it better from the outside and put pressure on the defense from multiple levels.   [player_tooltip player_id='2023923' first='Grant' last='Overman'] - Strong interior presence who excels as a shot blocker. Solid mover that protects the painted area well, cleans the glass, and makes the simple play offensively. Absolutely a college level player.   [player_tooltip player_id='2198969' first='Xavion' last='Terrell'] - Continues to excel as a long, quick, high intensity guy on the offensive end of the floor especially. Hard to stop him when he gets a head of steam going downhill. Strong defender as well.
