Standing just a tad under six feet tall Trey Jones Trey Jones 6'0" | SG Croatan | 2025 State NC is one of the top scoring guards in all of NC. What most would describe as a microwave scorer, with a quick and shifty handle, he does a good job at creating space to get his shot off over most defenders. One of the most consistent scorers out east and hasn’t had a season under 16.5 points per game since his sophomore season and now as a senior he is up to 24 points per game.

Jones had a big year for Croatan as they won over 20 games, advanced to the second round of the state tournament, and showed they can hold their own in the 3A class. He’s now jumped to 154th in the rankings after becoming a more efficient perimeter shooter as well as boosting his overall numbers. 17 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and 2.7 APG are great numbers for a shooting guard, and considering his year to year improvement, will put up even better numbers next year. Look for him to become a name to know from down East.

Jones is playing a huge part in Croatan’s undefeated start to their season, posting a 27/4/4 statline vs East Cartaret and a 18/6/4 statline vs Southside, two very good teams out east. He’s been a good scorer and leader for his group, and gets it done from all three levels.
