-Proved his value as a connector that can space the floor, perform either side of a 2-man game as a cutter or passer, and run the offense. His handle has gotten tighter and he's seeing plays a frame faster than before, reading double teams before they get to him and making the right play. With good positional size, the ability to play on and off the ball, and a better athletic profile-- he's one of my favorite DMV sleeper prospects in the class and is a player that coaches should get involved with now.

-Definition of a floor general. Knocked down both his 3 point attempts and was much more aggressive looking to score in the paint. Wallace did a great job of crashing in amongst the trees in the paint to grab a rebound and switching ends quickly with the basketball to get DeMatha some easy looks before the defense could set up. With his ability to serve as the POA fulcrum for a swarming DM defense, I expect his recruitment to uptick

-Many misread his competitive fire and how hard he is on himself as something else, and although he is still learning how to channel that energy-- Womack makes a positive impact at both ends of the floor almost every time I watch him. A versatile wing that can guard 2-4 well and switch to guard the other 2 spots, Womack has a motor that runs hot. He hits the glass, sacrifices his body for 50/50 balls and isn't afraid to box out a center to grab the rebound and head the other way. His handle has improved enough to create off the bounce for others, and with a depleted roster around him last weekend-- he showed some of the shooting and passing ability that will make him an asset at the next level. Being able to handle the rock in traffic, knock down perimeter shots with consistent form, improve his euro/finesse finishes in the paint, and honing some of the quick touch shots that he gets within 8 feet of the rim will be the next step in his progression.

-Was very effective down the stretch in a big win over DeMatha, hitting two 3s and a layup late to seal the game for OLMC. His ability to shift gears and get downhill while stretching the floor from beyond the arc makes him a valuable piece for this Cougar team.

-Williford stepped up in a big way this weekend for a short-handed STAB group, averaging 18p 8r 3a 1s 1b. His ability to guard 1-4 while playing on or off the ball as an above-the-rim athlete makes him an intriguing MM prospect. Williford needs to continue to improve the handle navigating in tight spaces and take all the hesitation out of 3 point attempts to show the full range of his abilities. Received offers from Chattanooga, Charlotte, Towson and FGCU following the event.
