2026 Rankings: Stock-Riser PGs

Here's a batch of point guards and combo guards raising their stock in the latest update. These players had outstanding spring seasons and have shown why they are some of the highest-regarded guards in their class.    Whitaker is an excellent observer of the game. He makes an impact scoring from all three levels, dishing the ball around, and making little plays to help his team win. He gets to his spots, plays under control, and has an astute knowledge of where guys will be, how defense will react, and how to exploit weaknesses all over the court.     I'm looking forward to seeing Bomet get more time on the floor with Garfield this winter because he's shown the type of impact player he can be in the AAU season. He's a true two-way guard who has the instincts to exploit lazy play on both ends. He plays with aggression, getting to the hoop and finishing over and around defenders, but he's also proven to be an efficient shooter from downtown and can really provide a lot of different looks for his teams.     Smith is a lanky guard who is fantastic off the dribble making things happen. He can run the show, facilitate out of numerous looks, and has the ability to go get a bucket with his ability to attack gaps and get to the hoop. He played a big role with Archbishop Murphy last season and has looked like one of the top creators with Hoopland this spring.     Nagel showed how he can impact a team with his toughness and timely shot-making last season, helping Glacier Peak to a third-place finish at state. He's a kid who will make plays in areas you wouldn't expect of a guard his size, hustling for boards and extra possessions, and showing he can be a sneakily effective defender.     Another proven two-way guard, Bennett thrives on harassing ballhandlers with his tight on-ball defense, forcing mistakes and getting his hands on loose dribbles. He's really tightened up that outside shot and has been more aggressive looking for ways to get inside the defense to score and create.     Stevens is another point man who can attack however the situation suggests. He's excellent at reading ball screen defenders, finding his man in late passing windows, and scores under control in those intermediate areas. He's also an excellent 3-point shooter who should see his scoring output go up again this winter.
