A special finisher around the rim, Sanders has proven himself to be elite at readjusting versus contact or drawing in free throws from those looks. Continuing to develop as a three point shooter, Sanders remains the top name in the state.     Recently picking up an offer from North Dakota, Braketa is back at the number 2 spot with a slim margin, bringing potent shotmaking and dependable facilitating out of the perimeter. A relentless shotmaker, he has continued to stretch out his distance from pull-ups or a standstill. Still a dynamic ball handler who can change speeds or operate out of ball screens, he truly maximizes his shooting gravity to create the best looks for himself or teammates. Defensively, he is a quick decision maker while attacking the passing lanes or while leveraging his opportunities out of ball screens, proactive in those instances.     Scherer's success garnering the 6A player of the year, a state title, and repeated success this summer have made him one of the top names in the state. Recently following a 27 point per game performance at Section 7, the guard looks ready to go after a second CHSAA title this upcoming season with Valor Christian. Remaining a dependable finisher versus contact around the basket, Scherer provides the offensive engine necessary to Valor Chrsitian's repeated success on the biggest stage.     When King is hitting, there are few names in the state who can match his shotmaking from distance. Excellent creating space on pull-up attempts, the notably athletic scoring guard is a tough matchup for the state's best defenses. Continuing to improve his athleticism while attacking the rim, he is continuing to take strides as an above the rim athlete through this stage in his career. Defensively, he holds his own at the point of attack, certainly a competitive matchup one on one.     Berninger's rapid rise is no accident, following 20+ points per game effort with Dakota Ridge and repeated success with Premier and Dakota throughout the past three months. An elite shotmaker from all three levels alongside steady improvements as an athlete, Berninger is the real deal. As the focal point of everybody's scouting reports, the guard has not wavered as a productive contributor, regardless of matchup. His continued growth facilitating for shotmakers will be important for him this coming season, given how much pressure will be on him from opposing defenses.
