There isn’t anyone who embodies the phrase “it’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog” more than Geremy Clark. Geremy is a great driver and a fantastic passer. He dominates the game with his energy and talent. He plays way bigger than his size and is super physical. Geremy is a player to watch going forward and one of my favorite guys to watch in the DMV.
Highlights
Caleb Gillus is a terrific glue guy. He does the little things exceptionally well and is the type of player every coach loves. He is a great defender and hounds opposing guards. He is a solid shooter and always makes the right play. He is effective off the ball and on it. He is one of the better role players in the DMV, and he’s a guy who, with more eyes on him, will get more love for what he brings.
Amari Brice-Johnson
Amari Brice-Johnson
Amari Brice-Johnson is one of the more slept-on players on this team. He is a tremendous driver and is hard to stay in front of. He is super quick and a skilled finisher. Amari competes on both ends; another player on this Team Takeover squad that does that.
Tremain Rowles
Tremain Rowles
Tremain Rowles Jr. is an intelligent guard who can be effective on and without the ball. He is a great shooter and can get streaky. When he decides to score, he is hard to speed up, and he can get what he wants. He makes his impact as a shooter by spotting up and creating for himself. He has nice size for a guard and should have a nice summer.
I talked about Elijah when I was doing my NOVA starting 5. Potomac School is a team to watch next year, and they will improve a lot. Elijah should be their best player, and this summer will allow him to grow as a player. He is a great athlete and a good defender who can shoot the ball. I love his versatility; he is a guy to watch this weekend.

Willie Bennett is a 2026er playing up with this Team Takeover squad. Willie is another great two-way guard this team has. He has a great jump shot, and even though he is a bit more of a score-first PG, he still does an excellent job as a passer. He gets in the paint and is a good finisher. He may be the player I am most excited to watch this weekend.

Mo Tanedo
Mo Tanedo
Another small and talented guard for this team. He is a tenacious defender and is very quick. He is a good shooter and finds his way into the paint. He is a fantastic passer and finds ways to finish over bigger defenders.
Doran Clausell
Doran Clausell
Doran Clausell is a big guard who can play multiple positions. He is a great passer and a versatile offensive player. He shoots the ball well and has a lot of potential on the defensive side of the ball. Doran can be a wing or play either guard position, and he is a guy that I am excited to get to watch for the first time.
Ryan Lewis
Ryan Lewis
Ryan Lewis can be an absolute scoring machine. He scores the ball at a high level from all over the court. Ryan can play either guard position and scores the ball in multiple ways. If Ryan isn’t scoring, he makes plays as a facilitator.
I watched a lot of PVI over the past few years, and with the slew of national talent they have, many talented guys don’t see much playing time. Jacob Moore Jacob Moore 6’8″ | PF St. Paul VI Catholic (PVI) | 2025 State VA is an excellent example of that, and with a good summer, I could see him getting minutes following most of their rotation leaving. Jacob is a good driver and has good length. He is an active and intelligent defender. If Jacob develops a reliable three-point shot, he will be a riser. I have yet to see him play much because of his situation with PVI, but I want to see him this weekend.

This Team Takeover squad is loaded with guards and wings. Liberty Fusire is the only true big this team has. He is a traditional big man who does little things well. He is a great interior defender and rebounder. He is strong and a good athlete. Liberty finishes around the rim nicely and brings a different element to this squad.
