<p><strong>Stone Has Big Game in Illinois T-Wolves 17U Victory over Illinois Ignite Jarrett</strong></p>

<p>Plainfield East 2025 combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2387669' first='Josh' last='Stone'] was excellent again for the Illinois T-Wolves 17U in their 61-51 early morning win against Illinois Ignite Jarrett. Stone has been coming on strong this spring as the lefty is a shot maker from both three and mid-range knocking down shots with consistency and turning steals into points. Also got help on the wins from [player_tooltip player_id='2382525' first='Jaden' last='Boe'] of Minooka who poured in 12 points including three from distance. [player_tooltip player_id='1552410' first='Daniel' last='Sepulveda'] is a hard nosed wing that can also make some shots for the T-Wolves out of Plainfield East.</p>

<p>Palatine 2026 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2429793' first='Robbie' last='Wilcox'] made an impression on us with his play for Ignite. The lead guard is a plus shooter that has some playmaking feel and craftiness off the bounce netting 13 points. His high school teammate 5'10” 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2433262' first='Justin' last='Ray'] is an athletic combo guard is shifty off the bounce getting downhill for 12 points. Prospect 6'7” five man [player_tooltip player_id='2433774' first='Luke' last='Christopulos'] in the 2026 class is one to track. Legit size big that seals down low, has good hands, and finishes through contact. Went for 10 points.</p>

<p><strong>New Prospects Emerge Across Board as [program_tooltip program_id='2076378' first='Old' last='Gold'] 17U tops LVL</strong></p>

<p>Next up was a good one which saw [program_tooltip program_id='2076378' first='Old' last='Gold'] defeated LVL 17U 64-59. There were a couple of known prospects in this one and then several others that emerged. Kankakee point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1874852' first='Myair' last='Thompson'] is a 2026 that has shake off the bounce, hits mid-range shots, and plays off his defense. Kenwood 6'1” 2025 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1582994' first='Chris' last='Watkins'] is a lefty that can score on layups at the rim, is a plus passer, and can knock in an open shot. Went for 15 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2438957' first='Jacob' last='Johnson'] is a 6'5” wing from Brooks that brings strength and athleticism on the interior. Finishes in traffic on put backs and out of the dunker spot. [player_tooltip player_id='2438974' first='Bryce' last='Tillis'] is a wing that gets out in transition for finishes as the Chicago Ag & Science two guard also has a soft touch finishing game. Went for 12 points. Southland 5'9” point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2438964' first='Jordan' last='Cameron'] also contributed knocking in several threes.</p>

<p>LVL is led by Lane Tech 6'7” combo forward [player_tooltip player_id='2300370' first='Zach' last='Mazanowski']. He has great size and skill combination. Inside/outside threat that finished on dump offs, got on the offensive glass, eurosteps off the bounce, hit a three. He rebounds well on the defensive end. Like his upside a lot at the D2 level. He had 17 points. Francis Parker point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2433605' first='Miles' last='Johnson'] plays with good pace and can make shots scoring 9 points. Lane Tech guard [player_tooltip player_id='2433607' first='Brayden' last='Rosenkrantz'] is a smaller guard that knocked in threes while his high school teammate Andrew Bartolai is a nifty layup maker that notched double figures. Amundsen 6'4” wing [player_tooltip player_id='2539000' first='Connor' last='Fortier'] has good size and the ability to score in the paint out of the dunker spot and playing with toughness. He had 11 points.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] and Watkins Duel It Out in Epic 2026 Wing Battle</strong></p>

<p>The best game probably all weekend was this one as Basketball Paradise topped [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] 16U 75-72. It was an all out duel between [player_tooltip player_id='2334404' first='Tre' last='Watkins'] and Ahmad [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last='']! The two 2026 two guards put on an absolute show! Watkins led the way for Basketball Paradise scoring 31 points looking absolutely incredible. He is a long and wiry 6'2” shooting guard that had it all working! Scored on slick takes off the bounce throwing in runner after runner. Multiple and-1s at the cup and knocked in some tough jumpers including contested baseline jumpers and threes. Proviso Math and Science 6'7” post [player_tooltip player_id='1552411' first='Jalen' last='Boyd'] is a 2026 big to track. He has a good frame with solid athleticism. Got on the offensive glass and was active defensively.</p>

<p>On the other side for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] it was Ahmad [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] who matched Watkins shot for shot! He was fantastic pouring in mid-range jumpers and threes with hands in his face at a high level. His fluidity and ability to create off the bounce is very impressive. Gets his shot off with such ease. Scored 26 points in the loss. His Lincoln Park teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2400893' first='Larry' last='Harris'] was a high motor defender and rebounder inside. Impacted on both ends with his shot blocking, post scoring, and passing. Argo wing Darron Greer is an athletic wing that competes on both ends of the floor. Burst to the rim and can score in transition consistently while also being an effective three point shooter scoring 19 points.</p>

<p>We then turned our attention to another all-Illinois battle as [program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite'] scored an overtime 56-51 win against [program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite']. Without [player_tooltip player_id='2291830' first='Javerion' last='Banks'] it was Warren 2026 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2437519' first='Braylon' last='Walker'] who was the go to player. He poured in feathery mid-range jumpers one after another all game long. Waukegan 2026 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1552444' first='Carter' last='Newsome'] did a nice job of running the show with his passing along with hitting a couple threes. Their leading scorer was [player_tooltip player_id='2437515' first='Jack' last='Wolf'] who had 20 points. Three sport athlete from Warren hit a trio of triples along with getting to the line.</p>

<p>For [program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite'] it was about their Brother Rice duo. Class of 2025 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2444443' first='Max' last='Justic'] is a lefty guard that plays with good pace and feel for the game. He runs a team in the half court setting up others. Also is a quality shooter and has a knack for getting in the lane. Went for 15 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1766504' first='Caden' last='Workman'] is a big wing that presents projectability for the next level to go along with skill. Hit a big shot late from three. Also was impressed with his playmaking as a secondary passer. He had 12 points.</p>

<p><strong>Flight Athletics 17U Wins It At Buzzer in Classic vs AyoDosElite</strong></p>

<p>Closest game of the weekend came in our final one as Flight Athletics 17U won 56-55 against AyoDosElite as CJ Nobles threw in a runner from beyond the three point line for the win at the buzzer! It was one heck of a shot! [player_tooltip player_id='2321459' first='Tristian' last='Saunders'] from Joliet West is the top prospect on this team. The 6'3” combo guard has a long and rangy frame and had big games throughout the event. Burst with the ball in his hands, smooth takes for scoop shots, pushes in the open floor going coast to coast, and can hit an open three. Quintin Wiencek got them going early with a pair of nice jumpers. Joliet West 6'0” guard [player_tooltip player_id='2399479' first='Brilan' last='Townsend'] is a lefty guard that had a knack for getting in the lane for scores drawing contact for and-1s along with making regular trips to the line.</p>

<p>St. Patrick 2025 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2422874' first='Anthony' last='Favia'] led AyoDosElite with a big game. He shot it very well from the field with his three ball, spinning layups, and mixing in mid-range shots. Clean looking perimeter shot. Mekhi Moses is a Lindblom 6'5” wing that has some projectability, rim runs, and hit a mid-range shot. Good defender as well. Javian Winchester is a name to watch down the line as the 2028 guard played up three levels coming off the bench. Smaller guard played with confidence showed creativity as a passer and made a runner. It wasn't quite the game that Curie standout [player_tooltip player_id='2415816' first='Jahkil' last='Jackson'] had on Friday, but he continued to show a smooth shooting stroke knocking in a pair of threes.</p>
