Stone has been coming on strong this spring as the lefty is a shot maker from both three and mid-range knocking down shots with consistency and turning steals into points. Also got help on the wins from [player_tooltip player_id='2382525' first='Jaden' last='Boe'] of Minooka who poured in 12 points including three from distance. [player_tooltip player_id='1552410' first='Daniel' last='Sepulveda'] is a hard nosed wing that can also make some shots for the T-Wolves out of Plainfield East.

Palatine 2026 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2429793' first='Robbie' last='Wilcox'] made an impression on us with his play for Ignite. The lead guard is a plus shooter that has some playmaking feel and craftiness off the bounce netting 13 points. His high school teammate 5'10” 2025 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2433262' first='Justin' last='Ray'] is an athletic combo guard is shifty off the bounce getting downhill for 12 points. Prospect 6'7” five man [player_tooltip player_id='2433774' first='Luke' last='Christopulos'] in the 2026 class is one to track. Legit size big that seals down low, has good hands, and finishes through contact. Went for 10 points.

New Prospects Emerge Across Board as [program_tooltip program_id='2076378' first='Old' last='Gold'] 17U tops LVL

Next up was a good one which saw [program_tooltip program_id='2076378' first='Old' last='Gold'] defeated LVL 17U 64-59. There were a couple of known prospects in this one and then several others that emerged. Kankakee point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1874852' first='Myair' last='Thompson'] is a 2026 that has shake off the bounce, hits mid-range shots, and plays off his defense. Kenwood 6'1” 2025 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='1582994' first='Chris' last='Watkins'] is a lefty that can score on layups at the rim, is a plus passer, and can knock in an open shot. Went for 15 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2438957' first='Jacob' last='Johnson'] is a 6'5” wing from Brooks that brings strength and athleticism on the interior. Finishes in traffic on put backs and out of the dunker spot. He has great size and skill combination. Inside/outside threat that finished on dump offs, got on the offensive glass, eurosteps off the bounce, hit a three. He rebounds well on the defensive end. Like his upside a lot at the D2 level. He had 17 points. Francis Parker point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2433605' first='Miles' last='Johnson'] plays with good pace and can make shots scoring 9 points. It was an all out duel between [player_tooltip player_id='2334404' first='Tre' last='Watkins'] and Ahmad [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last='']! The two 2026 two guards put on an absolute show! Watkins led the way for Basketball Paradise scoring 31 points looking absolutely incredible. He is a long and wiry 6'2” shooting guard that had it all working! Scored on slick takes off the bounce throwing in runner after runner. Multiple and-1s at the cup and knocked in some tough jumpers including contested baseline jumpers and threes. Proviso Math and Science 6'7” post [player_tooltip player_id='1552411' first='Jalen' last='Boyd'] is a 2026 big to track. He has a good frame with solid athleticism. Got on the offensive glass and was active defensively.

On the other side for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075383' first='Chicago' last='Demons'] it was Ahmad [player_tooltip player_id='2403249' first='Lee' last=''] who matched Watkins shot for shot! Scored 26 points in the loss. His Lincoln Park teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2400893' first='Larry' last='Harris'] was a high motor defender and rebounder inside. Impacted on both ends with his shot blocking, post scoring, and passing. Argo wing Darron Greer is an athletic wing that competes on both ends of the floor. Burst to the rim and can score in transition consistently while also being an effective three point shooter scoring 19 points.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite'] 17U Edges Past [program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite'] in OT

We then turned our attention to another all-Illinois battle as [program_tooltip program_id='2076264' first='Illinois' last='Central Elite'] scored an overtime 56-51 win against [program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite']. Without [player_tooltip player_id='2291830' first='Javerion' last='Banks'] it was Warren 2026 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2437519' first='Braylon' last='Walker'] who was the go to player. He poured in feathery mid-range jumpers one after another all game long. Waukegan 2026 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1552444' first='Carter' last='Newsome'] did a nice job of running the show with his passing along with hitting a couple threes.
