Prep Hoops Lead Scout + Prep Hoops Circuit Regional Scout

We had the opportunity to watch Watkins play two games during his excellent weekend at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals. He was the best player on the floor in both games. The versatile 6’2″ guard was especially impressive in Basketball Paradise’s quarterfinal win over Full Package Black on Sunday. He did a little bit of everything in the that contest finishing with 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Watkins shot it in from three-point range, knocked in some pull-up jump shots, used his athleticism to get to the rim, and was disruptive defensively as well. The Metea Valley High School prospect was one of the most impressive individual players at the event.
