An intriguing long-term prospect in the Class of 2027, Barnes is one of many excellent players in the Fort Wayne Snider freshman class. The long, bouncy, 6’5″-6’6″ forward/center has had a really good spring for Team Robinson 2027 and should continue to blossom into the summer months. He runs the floor very well, has good hands on the roll, and can play above the rim at both ends of the floor. Love the way he throws it down with authority any opportunity he gets inside. Barnes is definitely one to keep an eye on as he continues to develop. Very high-upside prospect.
It was all about proof of concept this spring for

and he has delivered so far. Among those who report stats to MaxPreps, the Bremen High School star was the top freshman scorer in the state of Indiana at 15.8 points per game. However, proving it against better competition on the grassroots circuit was going to be the next test. He has sense passed with flying colors. Devine has continued to put up big scoring numbers for 5Star 2027 proving himself as one of the best pure scorers in the class. He is excellent in the mid-range off of the dribble, gets great elevation on his jump shot, and shoots at a high percentage from beyond the arc.
Highlights
One of my favorites guards to watch this spring, Kaegi really stood out at the Puma Pro16 Circuit event in Lebanon earlier this spring. He is an outstanding shooter, creates his own shot well off of the dribble, and has the necessary athleticism to get up and finish at the end of his drives. As he continues to get bigger and stronger his game will only blossom further. Everything about his skill level currently screams future college player and the overall package is very projectable to the future. I think he has the chance to develop into one of the better Class of 2027 guards in The Region.
Highlights
Kern first stood out at our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase in August proving himself as one of the better playmakers in the Class of 2027. Now, after a great spring for Indiana Elite Team Indiana 2027, Kern continues to showcase his skills against high level competition. He has consistently put up good scoring numbers while also dishing out assists as a true point guard. The 5’11” floor general from Bedford North Lawrence High School is going to be one to watch as he continues to develop physically. There is a lot of skill to work with over the next few years.
Highlights
Sharpe has put together a great spring for Indy Heat Red 2027. The 5’10” dynamic playmaker from Brownsburg High School is super quick the ball in his hands, makes great reads in ballscreen situations, and creates his own shot consistently. Whether he is shooting it in from three-point range, getting all of the way to the basket, or hitting an open teammate it seems like Sharpe is always creating something offensively when he has the ball in his hands. Looking for him to continue to develop and blossom as one of the better pure playmakers in Indiana’s Class of 2027.
