If a player did great things at an event like this, the deserve publicity for their play. Let’s give a handful of those players the ink they deserve.
Zichterman showed out last weekend. He was a top notch scorer at the event, hitting double figures in every game. It wasn’t just his scoring, but more the efficiency he did it with. Zichterman shot 50% from behind the arc at the tournament.

This seems like an obvious one. I’ve been preaching what Thompkins brings to the table since his freshman year and I won’t stop now. He showed off a powerful and explosive base and the ability to control the pace and feel of the game when the ball is in his hands.
Tooson battled all weekend for the Midwest Stampede. He’s a dynamic ball handler that can simply make plays. Tooson can consistently touch the paint and either score or dish. As his team hit the injury bug, he took even more responsibility on the team and did a more than commendable job.

I don;t have any numbers with Aukeman, but I know he passed my eye test at the Prep Hoops Circuit’s Michigan State Tournament. He’s an athletic player that can run the floor and make plays. Aukeman has terrific body control when attacking the rim and made good decisions when attacking. He has a strong frame and should be fun to watch continue to develop.

Kurncz continued his breakout spring with the Midwest Stampede. He consistently attacked open lanes and made good decisions with the ball if the lane closed up. Kurncz worked just as hard off the ball, cutting from the opposite wing and making himself available.
