One of the top out-of-state stock-risers at the Bill Hensely Memorial Run N Slam, Zichterman played his way into several offers over the weekend. The 6’3″ left-handed guard was absolutely on fire from three-point range for West Michigan Premier 17u. He has deep range, a quick release, and such a smooth stroke. The South Christian High School prospect was one of the top perimeter shot-makers that we saw in Fort Wayne.

Zichterman has been impressing me for a while now and once again had a tremendous game. South Christian picked up a 56-35 win against West Catholic and Zichterman played a key role. He played a well rounded game finishing with a 14 point and 12 rebound double-double.

I saw Zichterman bury triples on Saturday. He was able to connect from the wings and the corners. Zichterman showed deep range and the ability to remain focused and shoot through a closeout.

Zichterman is a consistent standout at Prep Hoops showcase events! He passes the eye test for sure, looking like a next level prospect. Zichterman showed off his jumper at The Expo, hitting multiple 3’s including shots from the top and from the corner. All that being said about his shooting, it might have been his passing that stood out the most. Zichterman used the pass to push pace and showed that he can feed the post over the top.

I haven’t forgot about Zichterman’s performance at the Sophomore ID Camp last year and I’d like to see him ryn it back this year. He has the ability to find shots from beyond the arc and connect on them when he does. I have no doubt that Zichterman’s jumper will turn heads at the event.

One of two very impressive left-handed guards for West Michigan Premier 16u, Zichterman caught fire in the second half to help his team cruise to the Adidas Gold East Championship with a 63-38 win over EG10 16u. The 6’1″ guard ended up connecting on five three-point shots and scored a game-high 22 points in the contest. His ability to get loose beyond the arc, even as he continued to make shots, was very impressive.

Zichterman drew eyes last year at the Michigan Freshman Showcase and could do the same at the Sophomore ID Camp. Every time I’ve seen him play, I’ve been overly impressed with his jumper. Zichterman gets it off quick and it takes a really good closeout to pressure him. He’s a smart high percentage shooter as well.

Zichterman showed out last weekend. He was a top notch scorer at the event, hitting double figures in every game. It wasn’t just his scoring, but more the efficiency he did it with. Zichterman shot 50% from behind the arc at the tournament.
