Memorial Day Classic: Friday Night Standouts

With teams from all over the country descending on Las Vegas, it's the perfect time to get a long look at a lot of prospects. We pulled up to the Las Vegas Basketball Center to check out day 1 of the West Coast Elite Memorial Day Classic. He played with a ton of activity and confidence. In addition to the intangible improvement, the combo showed quickness along with an improved handle. In addition too protecting the ball, he flashed some wiggle using quick COD's to avoid defenders. The 6'6 forward moved well, showing the ability to run the floor. The former low post threat has begun to stretch his game out and it's showing. He rebounded everything, grabbing in traffic, out of area and contested boards. No matter how close the passer was or how fast the pass was fired, he caught it, and had enough presence to complete the play around the rim.
