[player_tooltip player_id='1587898' first='Jacob' last='Rand'] was one of the most entertaining players to watch on Day 1 of the Tarkanian Classic. He caught fire from beyond the arc, knocking down four triples in the first half and adding three more in the second. Beyond his perimeter shooting, Rand consistently leaked out in transition and used his active hands defensively to force a couple of turnovers. Although the Colts came up short, it was an impressive showing from the senior combo guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2806773' first='Jaxson' last='Bunker'] turned in a strong performance, particularly on the offensive end. He drained multiple three-pointers, mixed in mid-range pull-ups, and capitalized in transition. Defensively, Bunker was active and disruptive, using his length to pressure passing lanes and contest shots. Overall, he showcased his versatility and flashed the size and frame needed to compete at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1494636' first='Nas' last='Green'] caught fire for the Spring Valley Grizzlies on Friday night, hitting timely shots throughout the game. He opened with a jumper, followed it up by connecting on a pair of three-pointers, and later mixed in another smooth jumper. Beyond his scoring touch, Green was active defensively, helping force several turnovers. Overall, he competed with energy and made a positive impact on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2635516' first='Jaden' last='Williams'] had himself a game against Oaks Christian. The highly skilled combo guard was scoring from all 3 levels and it was fun to watch. He started off attacking and made quite a few shots. Then he had the play of the night, when he got a steal around half-court and then dunked on a defender who tried to swat his attempt. Down the stretch, he was pouring in shots from the perimeter and his efforts were almost enough to get the Mustangs back in it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2806816' first='Devin' last='Kai Odinas'] was making a lot of the right plays for Desert Oasis. He moved well off the ball and was able to get open consistently, which paid off as he splashed in two 3-pointers. In addition to his outside shooting, he came up with a solid steal and took it the rest of the way for a layup. Overall, his athleticism stood out, and he should continue to be a notable scoring option for the Diamondbacks.
