Several of the prospects in our 2027 rankings already hold college offers. For example, electric combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='2195052' first='Tyler' last='Sutton'] holds a slew of DI offers and athletic wing scorer [player_tooltip player_id='1406767' first='Munir' last='Greig'] has received an offer from Villanova.

Today we want to dive into our Class of 2027 rankings and highlight four prospects who impressed us during their freshman high school season and on the April grassroots circuit.

In fact, we were so impressed with the below players that if we were running a college basketball program each of them would receive a scholarship offer today.

#4…[player_tooltip player_id='1454260' first='Silas' last='Graham'] – 6'4″ / Haverford School / [program_tooltip program_id='2078678' first='East' last='Coast Power'] HGSL / Combo Guard: As a freshman starter Graham scored 15.6 points 7.5 rebounds and 5 assist per game. That stat line earned Graham 1st Team All-Inter-AC as well as 2nd Team All State selections. Then in April, Graham tipped off the grassroots season by dominating the HG Spring Jam Fest. Simply put, Graham is an elite playmaker with a high IQ and fantastic instincts. He can play as a distributing point guard who controls the tempo of a game. Or Graham can play off the ball and produce points at all three levels. His transition scoring and passing skills are impressive too.

#14…[player_tooltip player_id='2145489' first='Xavier' last='Fauntroy'] – 6'2” / West Catholic / NJ Scholars EYBL / Shooting Guard: This past season Fauntroy (5 ppg. 33% 3PM) was a spot starter for West Catholic. His high school breakout performance came against Bergen Catholic (NJ) when Fauntroy poured in 21 points on the strength of 7 made threes. When he is not lacing triples, Fauntroy can score in the open court and serve as a secondary ball handler. At the other end of the court Fauntroy can guard 1 through 3 and has a knack for generating steal / deflections.

#34…[player_tooltip player_id='2113411' first='Nasir' last='Barnes'] – 5'10” / York Suburban / [program_tooltip program_id='2428018' first='Sideline' last='Cancer'] MHC / Point Guard: In 2023-24 Barnes posted an extraordinary freshman season. As a starter he posted 19 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.8 assists per contest. Barnes shot 36% from behind the arc and registered a season high 40 points against Eastern York. He also posted 29 points vs. eventual 6A state champion Central York. Barnes amazing freshman campaign was capped with YAIAA Division II Player of the Year honors. Obviously, Barnes can score at every level. His willingness to relentlessly attack the rim is especially impressive. But he can also work as a tempo controlling point guard who facilitates for teammates.

#43…[player_tooltip player_id='2427377' first='Eric' last='Tati'] – 6'6″ / Academy of New Church / Kingdom Select NXT / Small Forward: Tati's size, athleticism and instincts should make him a priority target for college programs. He thrives in the open court where he finishes through contact. In the half-court Tati can produce buckets via quick post ups and his developing mid-range game. Additionally, Tati's non-stop motor and lengthy wingspan enable him to grab offensive rebounds and then convert on those second chance opportunities. This past season Tati had a reserve role on Central York's 2023-24 6A state championship team, but in April he proved that he is an emerging No. 1 / No. 2 option. On defense Tati is extremely switchable.
