6A
Lone Peak High School
Lone Peak has been good the past few years but they have come to a place where these talented players are all seniors now. Players like Ike Staley Ike Staley 6'6" | SG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT a SF body but the kid can really shoot the ball. Staley when healthy provides the knights with a lot of shooting and another big body to defend almost anyone. Ty Cogswell should be a bigger contributor to this upcoming season as will Jackson Taylor Jackson Taylor 6'2" | SG Lone Peak | 2025 State UT a shart shooter that can really let it fly. Taylor when his feet are set can really make it rain. Chamberlain Burgess Chamberlain Burgess 6'9" | PF Lone Peak | 2025 State #214 Nation UT on the team makes LPHS one o fthe biggest teams in the state and his ability to impact the game with block shots is important as is his shooting.
Corner Canyon High School
The Chargers are once again in the same spot they were last season as one of the best teams in the state. They will look different without players that seem to have been at the school forever like Brody Kozlowski Brody Kozlowski 6'8" | SF Corner Canyon | 2024 State #103 Nation UT . The players that they will lean on more next season are Bryton Valdes Bryton Valdes 5'10" | PG Corner Canyon | 2025 State UT a solid lead guard that will get reps with Dillon Roberts Dillon Roberts 6'2" | CG Corner Canyon | 2026 State UT another lead guard that can really defend. Then you have a really good shooter with length in Noah Bendinger Noah Bendinger 6'4" | CG Corner Canyon | 2025 State UT . Bendinger really spreads the floor with that elite shooting and his numbers should go up significantly.
Layton High School
Layton is a team that continues t obring up really good players as they have truly become a staple in 6A regardless who is on the team. The player that everyone is looking forward to watch develop is Karter Miller Karter Miller 6'0" | PG Layton | 2027 State UT . He did some really good things as a freshman on both ends of the ball and we expect him to come in ready for the high school season. Sam Romer Sam Romer 6'6" | CG Layton | 2025 State UT might be a player that has a breakout year as well. Jonah Fullmer Jonah Fullmer 6'0" | PG Layton | 2025 State UT did some really good things last year as a player that can score at all three-levels. Josh Checketts Josh Checketts 6'8" | CG Layton | 2025 State UT is another big body that had an impactlast season and will have another impactful season heading into next year. Layton might end up being the favorite.
American Fork High School
AF like most of the other power house schools graduated a lot of talent but unlike most of the other schools AF does not leave without a few new players that will step up. AAF has been known to have players step up regardless of move ins. Look for Jax Clark Jax Clark 6'7" | PF American Fork | 2026 State UT to be the next man up over there as well as Jax Oyler Jax Oyler 5'11" | PG American Fork | 2027 State UT in the backcourt as well as Emmit Red.
