Lance had a breakout showing this past weekend, scoring 33 points in a single game, which was the highest I saw. He has a strong 6’5” frame and was knocking down some super difficult shots. He could use his size and strength to work in the post, being able to get to the rim or hit tough fadeaways over a defender. He’s also a threat from beyond the arc, working well off the catch. He is a solid defender as well, especially inside. Helming appears to be an unsigned senior who is also a standout on the gridiron. He would be a huge steal for any Division 3 level program.
It is easy to see why Chase is one of the top prospects in Minnesota’s 2025 class. His game is so well rounded and he is so skilled offensively, while standing at 6’8”. He is a knockdown shooter from beyond the arc and has a high release, making it very hard to get a quality contest. He was effective attacking the basket, always looking under control when making his drives. Thompson is a good finisher around the rim with either hand and can also go to work in the post when matched up with a smaller player.

Andrew had a monster performance in the action I saw him in this past weekend, being able to completely take over a game with his interior presence. He was the best shot blocker I saw this weekend, being able to perfectly time up opponents shots without fouling. He was a force on the offensive boards, converting on several putback baskets. He’s continued to develop his perimeter game, as I saw him knock down a triple off the catch. Jensen is one of top prospects in Wisconsin’s 2026 class and he just keeps getting better.
London had a great performance in a tough matchup with D1 Minnesota ‘s top 2025 squad. He stands at 6’11” and was a force inside, on both ends of the floor. He was coming down with a ton of contested rebounds and was holding down the paint defensively blocking shots. He is also a threat from beyond the arc, showing the ability to knock down shots from deep off the catch. Praytor looked very mobile and could run the floor as well.

Jack was the tallest player on the floor in both of the games I saw him in and he used that to dominate inside. He is a great rebounder and is a good decision maker when faced with a lot of ball pressure. He made some nice passes to teammates, either starting transition opportunities following defensive rebounds or kick out passes following offensive rebounds. Thelen looks a lot more mobile than last year and he has also added some more post moves to his arsenal. The 6’10” freshman’s potential is through the roof.
Isiah is so fun to watch when he is playing fast and making plays in transition. He had one of the top moments I saw this weekend, catching a transition pass and floating in the air for a huge one-handed slam over a defender. His length and athleticism also allows him to be a high level and versatile defender. He has shown flashes of a perimeter game, having the tools to create looks for himself using the dribble, as I saw him get to his mid-range pull up jumper a couple of times.

Gideon Horne
Gideon Horne
Gideon was a pleasant surprise on Sunday, as I was not very familiar with his game coming into the weekend. He made some huge plays down the stretch in a super tight win over Minnesota Heat . He did the majority of his scoring around the rim, using his strong 6’4” frame to get downhill and absorb contact for tough finishes. He also rose up for a momentum shifting two-handed dunk late in the game. Horne played very physically and had a big impact on both sides of the ball.
