Who performed the best and who were the difference-makers for their teams to be successful at #NEXTTheStage in Indianapolis, Indiana? Who is on the short list and made the First Team All-Tournament team?
The All-Tournament team is based on performance and not potential as prospects. Prospects on winning teams get the first look. Let’s see who balled-out and helped their teams succeed. There will be six players from each All-Tournament Team.

Quintyn Voltz
Quintyn Voltz
Voltz was the MVP of the tournament and willed Indy Heat CG 2028 to a championship over Midwest Thunder. A nationally recognized prospect out of Indiana. You just have to see for yourself. Check out Voltz GOING OFF in the highlight video below by Indy Sports Film!
Zowd may be the best overall shooter I’ve ever seen for his age group. Unlimited range with elite ball-handling and playmaking passing. Good quickness and acceleration. Competes on the defensive side as well. A Kyrie Irving-type game with the ball, off the bounce, and finishes.
Highlights
DeAndre Burns
DeAndre Burns
Burns led his team to the championship game with his versatility and ability to control the paint and the boards. He was a warrior and could also play inside-out offensively. A smooth mid-range jumper and ability to finish with power at the hoop.
Dayton Storr
Dayton Storr
I didn’t watch a lot of BTY 2028 in the early goings, so Storr was sort of slept on. That now ends by placing him on the well-deserved First Team All-Tournament Team. The wing/forward is a scorer from everywhere, including from three. He was a load to handle with his smooth jumper, ability to go off the dribble, and finishing ability. Great overall length and is a good athlete that can get off the ground some. Sees the floor really well and will dish off for assists if the defense brings multiple bodies at him. Many teams played zone defense and Storr made them pay heavily by shooting, driving, and dishing out of the high post area. BTY 2028 nearly made it to the championship game, and Storr did a lot of heavy lifting as a shooter and scorer with size. The prospect out of Ohio is going to be a good one.
Jack Modesitt
Jack Modesitt
The backcourt of Voltz and Modesitt was a problem for other teams to deal with. Both elite scorers, shooters, and playmakers. Voltz and him would be interchanged and also played on the court together. Jack was turning defense into offense and was a master in transition, finishing cleanly off the glass around bodies.
Emoni was already mentioned as a top performer and now lands on the All-Tournament Team. He’s a six-foot wing/forward that can do it all on the court. Defends from end-to-end, rebounds, plays in transition, scores off the dribble, you name it. Offensive put-backs and hustle points were the norm. He earned a lot of his points by running the floor and crashing the boards. He attacked the ball and was stronger than most of his competitors.
