Top 25 Class of 2030 Prospects – Honorable Mentions

However, throughout the summer we have been able to get a feel for who the top prospects in the class are going to be. These are players who will likely make an impact at the varsity level right away and/or project very well to the college level as young prospects. Acuff stands out right away due to his size. The 6'5" wing/forward has an intriguing skill set to pair with his positional size and length. He is crafty as a ball handler consistently knifing his way into the paint. However, he is also very good at spacing the floor and stretching the defense as a catch-and-shoot threat. Carter was a standout over the summer with the Indiana Jammers and immediately was a primary option for North Central (Farmersburg) High School at the Charlie Hughes Showcase in June. The 6'2" point guard is a very talented playmaker with a lot of upside. He is a strong, physical wing with great positional size at 6'3" and the skill set to really make matchups hard for opposing defenses. The freshman at New Castle High School stretches the floor well, uses his size against smaller defenders, and projects as a versatile two-way wing. The 6'0" guard makes deep three-point shots off of the dribble, can make them on the moving while working off of screening action, and is a constant spot-up catch-and-shoot threat when he is away from the ball. Whether he is looking to score or pass he is in constant shot-creation mode. As he grows and matures physically it will really help to carry his game to the next level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
