The DC area Adidas team has built themselves into one of the top Adidas programs in the country, regularly producing some of the top talent in the country and collegiate prospects at all levels. Here’s a look at their current roster to start the AAU season.
Dewayne Williams | 6’5” SF | Moravian Prep
Williams is an intriguing prospect for this group, as he brings size and athleticism on the wing with the ability to impact both ends of the floor. He is a good ball handler who can get out in transition and get downhill, he’s an athletic finisher with good body control around the rim and he is a high motor and tough nosed defender who gets after it too.
Jacob Randall Jacob Randall 6'3" | SF Severn | 2025 State MD | 6’3” SG | Severn School
Randall is a gritty and tough player who will fit in well with this New World group, as he can impact the game on both ends of the floor and he just continues to get better and better. The 6’3” two guard is a very good defender who moves his feet well and is willing to do the dirty work, he has become a good shooter from deep and he can get downhill where he’s an explosive finisher with good strength too.
Jaren Curtis Jaren Curtis 6'1" | PG Bishop McNamara | 2025 State MD | 6’1” PG | Bishop McNamara
Curtis has been a big part of Bishop McNamara as a starter since his freshman season, and he’s continued to get better and better every year and is a very productive player across the board. He’s a good athlete who can get above the rim when he gets downhill and is a good rebounder for his size, he can knock down shots from deep, he’s a good defender and he’s an unselfish playmaker too.
Isaiah Vick Isaiah Vick 6'7" | PF Patriot | 2024 State VA | 6’6” F | Fork Union
Vick had a terrific career helping Patriot become one of the top public schools in the NOVA area over the past three seasons, and he’ll take another year at Fork Union in the Elite Prep League to continue to develop. At 6’6” he is a versatile hybrid forward who can play on the perimeter or in the paint, he has improved in his ball skills and shooting, he can guard multiple positions and he has a blue collar style to him.
Owen Gray Owen Gray 6'10" | C Steward | 2024 State VA | 6’8” PF | Steward School
Gray is one of the top available players in the Richmond area as he’s had a great career for Steward School, and he will play this spring with New World looking for a scholarship opportunity. At 6’8” Gray is a big time athlete for his size as he can run the floor and play above the rim effortlessly, he has good touch around the rim and out to the elbows as well and he moves well defensively and is a good rim protector too.
Grant Polk Grant Polk 6'7" | PF St. Albans | 2025 State #378 Nation MD | 6’6” SF | St. Albans
Polk has been one of the most improved players since he came on the radar a few years ago, and after reclassifying at St. Alban’s he has a chance to blow up this summer on the 3SSB Circuit. He’s improved his body a lot over the past few years making him quicker and more explosive, he has long arms to challenge shots and get deflections, he’s a dead eye shooter from deep off the catch and he has a chip to him as a competitor too.
Aiden Argabright Aiden Argabright 6'0" | PG John Marshall | 2025 State #220 Nation VA | 6’0” PG | John Marshall
Argabright may be one of the most under recruited players in the DMV if not the entire country, and while he was a major part of John Marshall’s fourth straight state championship he continues to get overlooked for some reason. He’s a high IQ guard who understands concepts and makes great decisions with the ball in his hands, he can knock down shots from deep, he’s crafty off the bounce and he gets to the line a lot for easy points.
Shane Lincoln Shane Lincoln 6'4" | PG Bishop O'Connell | 2025 State VA | 6’4” CG | Bishop O’Connell
Lincoln is another underrated guard who plays on a high school team that is stacked with tons of talent, but when he gets featured he’s a well rounded guard who can impact the game in many different ways. He’s a big guard with long arms and has the ability to guard the other team’s best player and make plays defensively, he can handle the rock and create in isolation situations, he has good playmaking ability and he does all the little things you like out of a guard.
Riley Jacobs Riley Jacobs 6'8" | C St. Stephen's & St. Agnes | 2025 State VA | 6’8” PF | St. Stephen’s St. Agnes
Jacobs is one of the more intriguing big man prospects in the DMV, as he is a big time athlete and has a very good skillset that makes him a tough matchup for anyone. At 6’8” Jacobs can run the floor and even handle in transition where he can get downhill and finish above the rim, he has good touch out to the three-point line, he can guard multiple positions and he still has a lot of room to continue to polish moving forward.
