His ability to efficiently navigate the defense and get to his spots in just one or two dribbles was highly impressive, showcasing great court awareness and quick decision-making. Spear’s has a deep bag of moves he can utilize whenever needed. Dakari had several plays where he showed off his knack for generating separation, one of the most memorable being a smooth behind-the-back stop-dribble into a three-pointer in transition, a move that exemplified both his creativity and confidence. Spear also excelled in creating shots for himself with his use of rip-throughs, jab steps, and stutter steps, which often lead to blow-bys and mid-range pull-up jumpers. Whether letting it fly straight up or while fading away, Spear’s jump shot proved to be very reliable and effective. He also displayed playmaking abilities that allow him to set up teammates when the defense focused in on him, showcasing a well-rounded offensive skill set that keeps opponents on their toes.
Keonte Greybear was a scoring threat who could get a bucket whenever and however he wanted on the court. His ability to change pace when attacking or creating off the dribble made him incredibly tough to contain in open space. Greybear consistently put tons of pressure on the rim with his strong penetration skills, proving to be a gifted and fluid athlete that can elevate and finish plays above the rim with ease. When Greybear had the ball on the left wing, it unlocked his entire offensive repertoire, giving him the ability to navigate and create in any direction, making his right hand exceptionally dynamic, as he could drive to the hoop, pull-up for a jumper, or dish out assists with equal effectiveness.
Everything on the offensive end ran through Jachai Cantave first, allowing him to create for himself and others consistently, showing great choices with his shot selection and passes while also keeping a low turnover rate. Excellent looking left handed stroke off the dribble and catch, stretching out to professional range. He was also a natural shot creator from each level of the floor, forcing defenses to respect Cantave’s range, which extended well beyond the three-point line as he excelled at finding an open three and getting to his spots in transition. Smooth stepback while staying squared up with the basket. He thrived when attempting to draw foul calls, ultimately living at the free throw line. Cantave showed that he can take and makes tough shots efficiently, he maintained great focus and eye contact with hoop at all times, allowing him to be unfazed by closeouts, traps, and defenders taking away landing space, leading to multiple nailed contested jumpers at such a high rate that it demoralized defenders.
Green displayed a unique speed, quickness, and elusiveness that set him apart from many point guards. Incredibly quick-twitch, choppy footwork, freezing defenders with his explosive first step or hesitation moves. Green showed a phenomenal ability to keep his defender off balance, manipulating the ball and utilizing the entire floor to his advantage. By attracting attention and drawing defenders, Green’s court vision and ability to maneuver under pressure made him a game-changing playmaker, capable of dictating the flow and tempo.
Seven Spurlock Seven Spurlock 6’5″ | SG Frisco Memorial | 2026 State TX relied heavily on his unbelievable athleticism to make impactful plays on the court. Spurlock displayed the strength, power, and explosion to compete, defend, and score effectively against opponents of any height or size, particularly in the paint. Defensively, Seven Spurlock Seven Spurlock 6’5″ | SG Frisco Memorial | 2026 State TX was a game-changer, capable of defending multiple positions on the floor. Whether guarding on the perimeter or battling inside, he showcased great tenacity. Spurlock also proved to be an elite transition player, utilizing his defensive skills to create turnovers through baiting and anticipating. His excellent instincts allowed him to disrupt passing lanes, generate turnovers, and ignite fastbreaks.
