Brumby helped his team finish atop the Southeast Conference with a (13-1) record, and capped off his productive season with first-team all-conference honors. The fleet footed guard did the majority of his work within the arc, and averaged a solid 15.7 points per game His most efficient scoring performance came in a win over Kenosha Indian Trail, where he scored 25 on (10-17) shooting from the field. The shifty guard averaged 4.2 assists and recorded his season high 9 assists in a win over Oregon. The 6 ‘2 senior took rebounding personally all season long as he pulled in nearly 6 rebounds per game.
Amare Hereford Amare Hereford 6'1" | PG Beloit Memorial | 2026 State WI | Beloit Memorial
Hereford is a top prospect in the 2026 class and the sole sophomore to be named honorable mention all-state at the Division 1 level. While leading the Southern Lakes conference in scoring with 25.1 points per game, he helped Beloit Memorial to a 3rd place finish in the conference (10-4) and (21-6) overall record. His most productive scoring output came in a win over Union Grove where he scored 31 points.The 6 ‘1 floor leader landed himself at third in assists in the conference with 4 assists per contest, and in a win over Burlington he recorded 9 assists. He also finished second on his team in the rebound category. Keep an eye out for him in the coming years as he is sure to make some noise around the state.
Ky’moni Hunt | Milw Hamilton
Hunt had a strong year to conclude his high school career, being the only player out of the city conference to be named honorable mention all-state. The senior floor leader helped lead his team to a conference championship in the Milwaukee City Gold Conference with an 11-1 record. The highly reliable guard finished the year with 5 30-point games, and a 26.3 points per game which landed him in second among all players in the conference His most productive scoring output came in a back and forth win over Carmen Northwest where he finished with 42 points. He led his team in the assist column with 4.8ast per game and did his part on the boards averaging 5.2 rebounds.
Cooper Jesperson Cooper Jesperson 6'2" | SG Eau Claire Memorial | 2025 State WI | Eau Claire Memorial
The Junior out of Eau Claire raised his stock tremendously, starting his junior campaign averaging 25+ in his first 5 games. His most efficient scoring output came in a loss to Owatonna where he shot 11-20 and scored 28 points. Jesperson led his team in scoring with 20.3 points per game. The 6 ‘2 guard finished second in scoring among all players in the Big Rivers Conference. Jesperson proved to be multifaceted by pulling down 4.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. His consistent effort helped Eau Claire Memorial atop the Big Rivers Conference with an 12-2 conference record and finished the season 18-7 overall. In his junior campaign he was named first-team all conference and placed on the all-state honorable mention list.
Joe LaChapell | Appleton East
This Appleton East senior capped off his last season was unanimously voted onto first-team all-conference in the Fox Valley Association, and for good reason. The 6 ‘1 guard had quite the year scoring the ball, finishing with 8 30-point games and 1 40-point game. His most impressive outing came in a loss against Kaukauna, where he recorded 43 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. While leading all scorers in the FVA with 26.3 points per game, he got an impressive 51% while doing so. The lead guard proved his versatility by leading the conference in the assist category with 5.4 assists, and finished second on his team in rebounding with 3.8 rebounds. The floor spacing guard shot almost 40% from beyond the arc and made 71 three pointers on the season. LaChapell was named honorable mention all-state.
Keegan Van Kauwenberg Keegan Van Kauwenberg 6'3" | CG Kaukauna | 2025 State WI | Kaukauna
The 6 ‘3 guard had a productive year for Kaukauna and helped lead them to a third place finish in conference play with a 12-6 record and 19-8 overall. He led his team in scoring with 18.7 points per game, which landed him in the top five in the conference. His most outstanding game came in a win over Mosinee resulting in a 39 point outing. He proved to be a sniper from range recording two games with 7 made threes, and 86 made threes on the year. He found his teammates consistently averaging 4.3 assists per game, leading his team in the category and landing him in the top five in the conference.
Drew Murphy Drew Murphy 6'4" | SF Verona | 2025 State WI | Verona
This 6 ‘6 wing is primed for a big senior season after a strong showing for Verona. The junior has a growing list of Divisions 2 schools; Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan, and Winona State. Murphy helped his team to a 4th place finish in a competitive conference, finishing at 12-6 in conference play and 19-9 overall. He landed in the top 5 in scoring among players in the conference with 23 points per game. One of his biggest performances came in a win over Madison East, where he poured in 47 points. Murphy has been named on the first team in back to back seasons and named honorable mention all-state this past season.
Gavin Van Wie Gavin Van Wie 6'5" | SF Sun Prairie East | 2024 State WI | Sun Prairie East
Van Wie played a major role in a successful season for Sun Prairie East, helping them to a second placed finish in the Big 8. Sun Prairie East finished the year with a 13-5 record in conference and 16-9 overall. Van Wie averaged 18.2 points per game, and a solid 5.5 rebounds per contest. His biggest performance came in a nail biting win over Madison East where he poured in 35 points and 8 boards. The 6 ‘5 wing finishes his career with first team all-conference honors and honorable mention all state.
