Emmanuel Joe-Samuel Emmanuel Joe-Samuel 6'4" | SG Camden | 2025 State #308 Nation NJ , 6’4 Camden
Joe-Samuel poured in a season-high 23 points in the Group 2 final and is looking to carry that production over into the spring AAU season. The 6’4 guard attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is unafraid of drawing contact. Joe-Samuel is more than just a slasher as he has a good release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. He works for rebounds on both ends of the floor and gets deflections on the defensive end. Joe-Samuel has the potential to have a big May with his ability to score inside and out.
Brandon Lee Brandon Lee 6'5" | SG Patrick School | 2025 State #316 Nation NJ , 6’5 Patrick School
Lee had a big debut in the opening weekend of the EYBL as he averaged 26 points per game. The 6’5 guard uses his handle to get to his spot on the floor and finishes nicely around the rim. Lee wastes little motion in his shooting stroke and has the ability to catch fire from behind the arc. He moves well without the ball in his hands and is an underrated defender. Lee’s ability to stretch the floor is something that will help him make noise over the next couple of weeks.
Luke Kennevan Luke Kennevan 6'4" | SG Camden Catholic | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 Camden Catholic
Kennevan has the potential to have a big May with his ability to score in multiple ways. The 6’4 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Kennevan is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish through contact in the paint. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and can find his open teammates in the halfcourt. Kennevan is a versatile guard who should have a big May with his ability to score the ball.
Casper Pohto Casper Pohto 6'3" | SG St. Benedict's | 2025 State NJ , 6’3 St. Benedict’s
Pohto has the ability to play on the ball as well, making him an intriguing prospect to watch in the class. The 6’3 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Pohto is more than just a shooter as he can also get to the rim off the bounce and is a solid finisher around the basket. He slides his feet on the defensive end and rarely forces bad shots in the halfcourt. Pohto is a sharpshooting guard prospect whose ability to shoot the ball from deep will help his game in a big way over the next month.
AJ Mickens AJ Mickens 6'4" | SG Hun | 2025 State NJ , 6’4 Hun
Mickens has the potential to play on the wing in a pinch, but his future at the next level will be in the backcourt. The 6’4 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get past his defender off the bounce and finish at the rim. Mickens can also score in the mid-range and shoots the ball with confidence from behind the arc. He moves well without the ball in his hands and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Mickens’ ability to make plays at both ends of the floor is something that will help his stock in a big way over the month of May.
