The event featured players from the class of 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 all looking for the opportunity to increase, or in the case of the 2028 class get on the rankings radar. Let's face it, the main draw for this event was for players looking to increase their rankings. He checks out as a shooter, and flashed some playmaking ability. His athleticism is what really showed during the event. He has a good burst and was able to play above the rim. He used the event to display some much improved ball skills. He finished COD's with layups at the rim, and showed an advanced array of finishing moves. The thing that stood out the most was his handle. He has good size, and showed tremndous explosion and quickness. He has a skill, and that's his ability to rebound. When going back to watch the tape, two things jump out at me. The guard played as hard as anyone at the event, and had a knack for grabbing rebounds. He threw a behind the back pass off the dribble, in the lane to a corner shooter. You couldn't walked over and handed the ball to the guy any better. In fact the pass was so good, you forget about the fact that it was his athletic ability that stole the show, as he played above the rim on several occasions. The improvment that I saw from Edmonds from the Las Vegas Middle School Combine to now, told me that he's a clear canidate for a player to move up from where I would have had him ranked. He ran the floor a lot better, and displayed a nice soft touch around the rim.
