Here’s a look at part three of the top forwards in the class, ranking the top 5 power forwards and centers in the sophomore class.
5) Travis Holloman Travis Holloman 6'7" | PF Life Christian Academy | 2026 State VA | 6’8” C | Life Christian Academy (#20 Overall)
Holloman followed up an impressive freshman season with another good season as he helped lead LCA to a run to the state semifinals this year. The 6’8” big man is chock full of potential moving forward as he already has a good frame, moves well to get up and down the floor and he has good hands and good touch in the paint. He continues to get better and with the level of athlete he is at his size he’ll have coaches coming to check him out in no time.
4) Ripp Kodi Ripp Kodi 6'5" | PF Bishop Ireton | 2026 State VA | 6’6” PF | Bishop Ireton (#18 Overall)
Kodi is a very intriguing prospect who is part of a talented young Ireton team, and his versatility for his position means he could even translate to the wing moving forward. At 6’6” he has long arms and is a big time athlete who can run the floor with his guards and play above the rim when he gets out in transition. He can face up and put it on the deck to get by defenders, he can switch and guard on the perimeter while also challenging shots at the rim and he shows good touch out to the three-point line too.
3) Frank Siaca-Bey Frank Siaca-Bey 6'8" | C Fairfax Christian | 2026 State VA | 6’8” C | Fairfax Christian (#16 Overall)
Siaca-Bey is a new school five man that has a lot in his bag and a lot of upside moving forward, and his ability to play inside-out is really impressive at his age. He is a big and strong presence in the paint on both ends of the floor, and he has great footwork and good touch around the rim with both hands on post ups. He’s shown the ability to step out to the midrange and beyond the three-point line to knock down shots, he’s consistent from the free throw line and he’s a good passer as well.
2) Connor Lyons Connor Lyons 6'7" | PF St. Anne's-Belfield | 2026 State VA | 6’7” PF | STAB (#8 Overall)
There aren’t many true stretch fours in this class, and Lyons is head and shoulders above them as the one with the most upside moving forward. At 6’7”, Lyons has a good frame that is already strong with long arms, and he continues to get more athletic as he continues to grow into his body. He’s a very good shooter from deep with a quick release and good range, he moves well off the ball to get open, he’s a threat in the pick-and-pop and he’s improving in his ability off the bounce as well.
1) Latrell Allmond Latrell Allmond 6'8" | C John Marshall | 2026 State VA | 6’8” PF | John Marshall (#2 Overall)
Allmond is one of the top bigs not just in this class but in the entire state, and his resume is already very impressive with two state championships and time spent with Team USA as well. He stepped into high school ready to play and dominate, and only got better this year as he continues to develop and improve along with his team. He’s a man amongst boys in the paint, as he’s already physically capable of dominating even older big men, and with his athleticism he’s able to play above the rim with authority and doesn’t shy away from doing so. He’s an active defender who can protect the rim and moves his feet well, he brings great energy and physicality and he’s improving on his ability to knock down shots from deep too.
