Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage from Class 4A Sectional 12 at Terre Haute South for two great games on Friday evening. His physicality put Terre Haute South on their heels early on and allowed Avon to build a comfortable advantage. However, it was [player_tooltip player_id='1539998' first='Rashod' last='Bethley'] who really got the scoring going as he connected on a pair of three-point shots in the opening period to put the Orioles on top 30-19. Lott-Hancock then consistently got to his left hand and used his combination of size and strength around the basket to dominate the opposing front court. As he got hot, the Braves cut it to five going into the fourth quarter. However, they would never get over the hump as [player_tooltip player_id='1539997' first='Kendrick' last='Dunmore'] threw down a couple of emphatic dunks and [player_tooltip player_id='1297038' first='Isaac' last='Kramer'] nailed a pair of dagger three-point shots to secure the victory for the Orioles. The Patriots were hot from beyond the arc as they pulled away 39-23 going into the fourth. However, it would prove to not be over. Some careless turnovers, unnecessary fouling, and continued aggression from Brownsburg led to the lead dwindling to six with under a minute to play. Terre Haute North held on to win 61-53 and advance to take on Avon in the Sectional 12 championship game on Saturday night.
