Super Six
Miller has been on our watch list for a few years now and being able to see him have success at the varsity level and in 6A was very impressive. He is not just a shooter he is a complete player that plays great defense. He does play with anticipation and IQ. He was able to stay in-front of a lot of good older guards on defense, he battled on the glass on both sides of the floor and he was scoring from the midrange and even getting to the rim and finishing against some length. He is a player that will have a bigger role next year for sure and he should also have a solid Spring and Summer.
Tobler was impressive, especially when he is playing on a team that has a lot of guards that can play. He has leaped over some of the players in wait as he shows that he can be a solid 6A lead guard. Scores the ball a bit, he doesn’t depend on only shooting to score and he sees the floor well. A lot of upside for him over at Farmington.
Highlights
This kid is one of the best three way scorers in the class. He was on a team that shocked the state with a 6A State Championship. Shewell is on a team that runs a 4 guard set and he was able to crack the rotation at times and even in tight games. He has the shot making and leaping ability to impact the game right away. He is the future of Lehi and he will be a must watch player on the 3SSB Circuit this Spring and Summer.
Highlights
Cottonwood has done a really good job of developing talent or getting the most of their players and you are able to see what Luka will bring to the table as a hybrid SF that can step inside the paint and be effective but also be a threat out in the perimeter. With a heavy load of seniors clearing the way Luka will be a young talent to watch develop over at Cottonwood.
Bode was ready when his name was called and many might not realize how hard it is to see the floor as a freshman at the 6A level but Bode was able to do that on the court and he had experience doing it on the football field as well. He might be the best two sport athlete in the class.
Winitana has a mature game and is the best player on that team over at American Heritage. He has a strong handle and knows how to get the ball to his teammates where they can score. He is a really good scorer as well and he will only get better as he started for his team.
Next 3
Watching Dart come into games against some really tough teams and he did his thing. He played defense, he was moving around and he was hitting three-pointers. Kid is another one at the top of the list wehn it comes to best two sport athletes in his class.
Hall made a big impression late in the season as he came in and helped that varsity team win some games and he gave the team a different dimension for sure. He is quick and knows how to get to his spots for sure. He is going to be a force for years to come.
Kid has a motor and he is doing it all at the small school level. He is going to be a big time player in the small school classifications.
