Isaac Bell
Isaac Bell
First-team all-district Forward Isaac Bell was a guy that impressed me this year. I first watched him at the Hammerzone Tournament at Fairfax, where he won MVP. Isaac is a good athlete and an active defender. He has nice size at 6’4, and he can play inside and out. He is a good spot-up shooter with nice range and does a good job rebounding the ball.
Jeremy Fuchs
Jeremy Fuchs
Another first-team all-district player from McLean I like is Senior Guard Jeremy Fuchs. Jeremy is a knockdown shooter and a crafty finisher. He is a good athlete and does well in transition. He was another guy who impressed me at the Hammerzone tourney, and in the few other times I watched McLean, his poise and skill stood out to me. A February game against Yorktown was the best of his games I watched, and he took over that game as a scorer.
Preston White Preston White 6’6″ | PF Gainesville | 2025 State VA is starting to get more shine after his big Junior season. Preston’s energy and length were a problem for teams all season. Preston’s finishing and rebounding were terrific this year. He looked stronger, finishing through players as well. People were looking for Preston to take a leap this season, and he did. I have Preston on this list because I expect him to take another leap next year, and come November, I see him breaking into that top 100.
Catoctin player of the year Colin Fuller Colin Fuller 5’11” | PG Woodgrove | 2024 State VA had an outstanding offensive season for Woodgrove. Colin gives you everything offensively. He is a great spot-up shooter with excellent range and can make difficult shots. He is a skilled finisher around the rim and has a nice mid-range game. Colin was a massive reason this Woodgrove team had such a dominant regular season.
Nate Boner
Nate Boner
Nate Boner is a player every coach loves to have. He impacts the game whether or not he’s scoring the basketball. He is a tremendous rebounder and facilitator and plays the game with 100% effort. Nate can knock down open threes and rack up steals and blocks like nobody’s business. Nate plays bigger than he is and stuffs the stat sheet every game. Nate was a first-team all-district selection, and he was a massive reason this Loudoun Valley team had the postseason success they had.
Another first-team all-district selection from Loudoun Valley was Senior guard Landen Conrad Landen Conrad 5’10” | PG Loudoun Valley | 2024 State VA . Landen is a quick, intelligent, and skilled guard who was the engine for this Loudoun Valley team. He is a good passer and a knockdown shooter. He creates a lot of his threes himself, and even though he’s only around 5’10, he gets his shot off over bigger defenders because of how quickly he can release the ball. Landen was one of my favorite players and flew under the radar this season.
