No. 44 Isaiah Kastern Isaiah Kastern 6'5" | PF Solon Springs | 2024 State WI – Solon Springs
Kastern flew under the radar at the small Division 5 program. Bemidji State found the 6-foot-5 forward, who averaged 29 points and 10 rebounds per game during his senior season. Kastern led Solon Springs to the Division 5 state tournament and a 29-3 overall record.

No. 53 Andrew Rocksvold Andrew Rocksvold 6'7" | SG Eau Claire North | 2024 State WI – Eau Claire North
Rocksvold averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, and two assists per game during his senior season. He shot an impressive 47 percent from the field en route to first-team All-Big Rivers honors. A two-guard with outstanding positional size at 6-foot-6, Rocksvold is a smooth outside shooter with some sneaky athleticism. Love his movement off the ball and willingness to be a two-way player as well. Rocksvold is headed to UW-Eau Claire next season.

No. 57 Will Stuckey Will Stuckey 6'1" | SG Kettle Moraine | 2024 State WI – Kettle Moraine
Kettle Moraine was supposed to take a step back after reaching the state semifinals in 2022-23. Despite the Lasers losing their leading scorer, Stuckey ensured that didn’t happen. Getting Kettle Moraine back to Madison, Stuckey averaged 17 points per game as a senior. The 6-foot-1 guard shot 48 percent from 3-point range.

No. 67 Gavin Van Wie Gavin Van Wie 6'5" | SF Sun Prairie East | 2024 State WI – Sun Prairie East
An intriguing prospect with a lot of different parts to his game, Van Wie averaged 18 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game this past season. At 6-foot-5, Van Wie can shoot from the outside, score in the post, take you off the dribble, and serve as his team’s primary ball handler if needed. A gamer who wants the big shot, Van Wie had a 35-point effort against Madison East when we were on hand.
Highlights
No. 77 Cade Kohnen Cade Kohnen 6'4" | SF Marquette | 2024 State WI – Marquette
Kohnen is headed to UW- LaCrosse next season. Part of Marquette’s Division 1 state championship squad, Kohnen averaged 10 points and six rebounds per game. A deadly outside shooter, Kohnen shot 43 percent from deep. If you close out too hard, Kohnen has some sneaky athleticism and bounce to get to and play above the rim. Also a willing defender who can guard multiple positions at 6-foot-4.
No. 89 Demond Laongoen Demond Laongoen 5'10" | CG Madison East | 2024 State WI – Madison East
Didn’t finish the season, but did some really big things for the Purgolders. Laongoen was averaging around 18 points per game during his senior season. A strong, skilled, and quick guard, Laongoen looked terrific in transition and isolation settings. He can get defenders on his hip and stop on a dime for the pull-up, or use his strong upper body to brush aside contact and finish at the rim.
Highlights
No. 99 Nathan Deprez Nathan Deprez 6'3" | SG Kaukauna | 2024 State WI – Kaukauna
Caught Deprez in playoff action and was pleasantly surprised. The Ghosts have a lot of parts, but Deprez was definitely one of the straws that stirs the drink. An all-around guard who can get two feet in the paint, make plays for others, roam the perimeter and hunt shots, and be a true point guard, Deprez averaged 12 points and 4.4 assists per game. This is one of the bigger sleepers in the 2024 class right now.
Highlights
Nick Vorwald Nick Vorwald 6'4" | SG Mount Horeb | 2024 State WI – Mount Horeb
UW-Platteville did a good job on this one, finding a late bloomer in Vorwald. The senior started to break out this season, averaging 15 points per game while playing alongside one of the top sophomore guards in the state. Vorwald is a terrific outside shooter with a very quick stroke — the type of kid you have to stay attached to and find immediately in transition. What makes Vorwald even more intriguing is his 6-foot-4 athletic frame. He’s more than just a sniper. Vorwald can get coast-to-coast in transition with the basketball and plays a team-oriented style. If his shot isn’t there, Vorwald gets it out of his hands and starts moving. Individually, maybe doesn’t always stand out a ton, but I think he’s got a college-style game that’s going to benefit him and his team in the WIAC.
