The lights were never too bright for Warner when he came in the game. A key rotation player for the Spartans, Warner showed a penchant for hitting big shots off-the-catch. He gave them some firepower on the perimeter by knocking down his fair share of spot-up threes and getting to his spots in the mid-range.
Better known as “Mikey,” the youngest of the Matthews brothers might have the most upside. His athleticism is his calling card, particularly on defense. He suffocates guards and wings with his length and lateral mobility. And he often blocks jump shots and got putbacks thanks to his leaping ability.
First off the bench for St. E’s, Alexander was electric as soon as he stepped on the floor. The undersized guard is a dangerous shot-maker, able to score inside with scoop layups and hit high-arching threes from well-beyond the college line. And on defense, he wins with his quickness, flustering ball-handlers by beating them to their spots.
Tingle made an immediate impact on the football field as the starting varsity QB and it was kind of the same way once he shifted over to the court. Not only did he lead the Vikings in points, he also led them in blocks and was second in steals, without playing the full season. The poised signal caller made splash plays on both ends to breathe life into his team.
More than just the top 2027 prospect in Delaware, Newson can make a case for that title across DE and PA. He carried a high usage in his first season on varsity, getting downhill off-the-bounce before finishing with a variety of moves at the rim and spacing the floor from three. Newson also demonstrated good instincts as a help defender with the tools to alter shots and gum-up driving lanes.
