One of the toughest defenders in his class, Wiggins plays with boundless energy and can smother ballhandlers to force errors. He’s also a worker on the glass, can dart inside and convert some tough finishes inside, and has shown some feel from outside to space the floor. Really stood out for his defensive effort this season but has a solid offensive profile that should continue to get better into next year.
Davis had one of the best state tournament’s across the entire state and led his Bremerton team to a fifth-place finish at the 2A tournament. He’s a high-volume shooter who handled a big workload throughout the year. With a smooth stroke he’s able to work off the dribble, run off screens, and gets his shot off quick to capitalize on limited space. He’s shown to be a solid three level scorer while manning the point and running their offense too.
Highlights
Stepped up to lead his team in scoring this past season while also running the point and distributing to teammates. He’s an ultra-quick player with good stop and go who attacks gaps with his head up, and sees the floor well while operating in heavy traffic. Also a standout on the defensive end, Sanchez shows innate feel for the game across all facets and has a great engine.
The lone big man on this list, Albright is a gritty rebounder with a strong frame who can defend on the blocks, continually gets himself in great position to cap defensive possessions with boards and can keep the offense alive by working the o-boards. He shows great balance to play a physical game and had some big games finishing around the hoop to help Glacier Peak to a third-place finish at the 4A tourney.
