Oden had a great sophomore year, showing improvements for many aspects in his game. He has always done the little things so effectively, always boxing out, making the extra pass, and plays under control with the ball in his hands. Hatcher has solid vision, being a threat to find the open shooter when attacking the paint.
David is going to be a Division 1 football player and that isn’t a surprise if you watch what he does on the football field. On the court, man is he dominant in the paint. He is stronger than most opposing players and it shows. He boxes out with ease and is a monster on the glass, showcasing great footwork. He runs the court well for his size, having an insane amount of athleticism.
Mantaj is going to take his game to another level next year on the court. This Ferndale team has a ton of potential and with Singh likely being the focal point, he will have the ball in his hands a lot. Mantaj is a smooth lefty wing who utilizes mismatched whenever they are given to him. After his deep jumper becomes more consistent, he will rise in the rankings.
Aaron is a player who is still finding his perfect role on this Kamiak team. He has solid length, being effective on the defensive side of the ball with getting his hands in the passing lanes. His offensive game is still developing as he works on being strong with both hands when attacking the rim and his deep shot being consistent. I think he will have a big summer and start to showcase what he can do on the court in a bigger way.
Noah is a big guard who likes to bully opposing players. He knows he is strong and uses it when getting into the paint or going against bigger guards. His jumper is becoming smoother while his dribbling abilities is becoming more consistent as well. Noah has a solid mid-range jumper but what stands out to me is his energy on the defensive side of the ball. He gives his team 100% of his effort, always crashing the boards and diving for loose balls.
