This strong forward dominates the paint with his ability to outmuscle opponents, using his sturdy frame to maintain position effectively. His balance and strength allow him to stay on his feet even under intense defensive pressure. Offensively, he’s a difference-maker with a smooth left-handed shot that helps him find his rhythm quickly. His combination of physicality and scoring touch makes him a key asset on both ends of the floor.

Singh is a long wing who can knock down the outside shot a good clip, and has looked very good attacking the hoop from either side of the floor. He has the length to be a tough finisher inside and has shown he can use either hand in close and fight through some contact at the rim. He’s also a kid who’s willing to mix it up on the glass and challenge some shots around the paint, and will be Ferndale’s key guy this winter.

He’s in store for a big season with Ferndale this winter and is a real shooter with size who can also add in some rim impact with his rebounding and defensive versatility. Most impactful as a scorer/shooter, but has the toughness to compete by the hoop and make an impact in multiple ways.

Mantaj is a wing that possesses a college-level physique that commands attention on the court. His physical strength allows him to out-body opponents, making him a formidable presence in the paint. With exceptional ball-handling skills, he’s capable of attacking the basket with both hands, keeping defenders guessing. Not only does he excel in scoring when left open, but his ability to create opportunities for his teammates makes him an invaluable asset to any lineup.

The big guard/wing has some good shot-making to his game. He can hit from 3-point range with good efficiency and has the length/touch to hit shots closer in, working in the midrange and down low. Singh also makes good decisions with the rock, works for good shots, and is a solid rebounder who attacks the ball and shows good hustle to chase down long boards.

Mantaj will likely be the main offensive option for Ferndale next year. He has a solid 6’3″ frame and can use his body down low against bigger opponents he faces. Singh could very likely handle the ball for the Golden Eagles as they are losing a couple ball handling guards. He can handle the ball well, having decent patience so he can find his teammates who are open.

Mantaj plays with patience on the court, knowing what he is going to do with the ball before he even gets it. He has an efficient deep shot, knocking down shots easily with a defender in his face or not. Singh can play inside or out, but was excellent at the high post over the weekend. He was able to catch then turn and shoot many times but also found his big man down low for an easy dump down layup.

Mantaj has been hopping this summer with Beauchamp Elite and is playing at a high level. He was a top player in the NWC last year for Ferndale and he was just a sophomore. As he has grown in height and frame, he will only be more of a matchup nightmare next year during his junior year. His game is getting more well rounded as he can drive just as effectively with his off hand compared to his right. Singh will likely have the ball in his hands a lot more next year, with Ferndale’s guard graduating.

Mantaj is going to be a main option for the Golden Eagles next season, maybe even being the main ball handler. He is a 6’3″ wing who can score from inside the arc very well. He has creative moves ton help him get past defenders and has a high release point on his jumper to help elevate over opposing players. Singh has improved his lateral movement, being more agile on the defensive side, which will really separate him from other players.
