Here’s a look at part one of the top forwards in the class, ranking some of the best power forwards and centers in the junior class.
25) Preston White Preston White 6'6" | PF Gainesville | 2025 State VA | 6’6” PF | Gainesville (#117 Overall)
White has had a breakout season for Gainesville and could move up this list after making his debut. He’s a handful to deal with in the paint and he can seal and finish through contact, he runs the floor hard in transition and he’s an absolute monster on the glass.
24) Caleb West Caleb West 6'6" | C Flint Hill | 2025 State VA | 6’6” C | Flint Hill (#113 Overall)
West is getting a lot of attention as a football recruit, but he’s been steady on the hardwood this year for Flint Hill as well. He’s an athletic big who can run the floor and finish, he is a good rim protector and defender in the post and he’s very good on the offensive glass too.
23) Anderson Krisko Anderson Krisko 6'5" | C Marshall | 2025 State VA | 6’5” C | Marshall (109 Overall)
Krisko continues to be a steady contributor and force for Marshall this year after having a breakout summer. He’s a throwback style big man who brings toughness and production in the paint, he brings great energy on both ends of the floor and he can score it inside as well as stretch the defense to the elbows too.
22) Liam Koelsch Liam Koelsch 6'7" | C West Potomac | 2025 State VA | 6’6” C | West Potomac (#103 Overall)
Koelsch is another big man who has taken a leap this year with more touches and more production across the board. While he isn’t the strongest guy in the paint he has good length to alter shots at the rim, he can score it around the rim with either hand and he’s a patient and crafty player who knows how to use fakes and counters to score the ball.
21) Jack Lloyd Jack Lloyd 6'4" | PF Flint Hill | 2025 State VA | 6’4” PF | Flint Hill (#100 Overall)
Lloyd is someone that you don’t really want to match up with, as he can cause so many problems for opponents with his inside-out game. He’s strong enough to bully guys in the paint and has soft touch around the rim, he clears out space on the offensive glass and he can step out where he’s a knock down shooter and good passer too.
20) Jordan Jackson Jordan Jackson 6'7" | PF Highland Springs | 2025 State VA | 6’7” PF | Highland Springs (#79 Overall)
Jackson continues to take steps in the right direction as far as his development goes, and down the road he has a lot to like about him. At 6’7” he has long arms and is a good leaper to contest shots and rebound, he runs the floor well in transition and can play above the rim and he can step out and he has good touch all the way to the three-point line.
19) Jeremiah Morris Jeremiah Morris 6'8" | C King's Fork | 2025 State VA | 6’8” C | King’s Fork (#63 Overall)
Morris has had a solid year for King’s Fork who continues their dominance in the 757, and he just continues to get better. He’s an absolute load to deal with in the paint as he’s strong but quicker than he looks, he clogs the lane and doesn’t allow penetrators to get easy layups and he shows good touch around the rim too.
18) Michael Manser Michael Manser 6'7" | PF Virginia Academy | 2025 State VA | 6’7” PF | VA Academy (#62 Overall)
Manser is an intriguing prospect who could blow up this summer if he can be productive and show his overall skillset. At 6’7” he has a good frame and is a good athlete who can get up and down the floor, he has good ball skills for his size as he can step out and put it on the deck and knock down shots and he can guard multiple positions too.
17) Matt Henderson Matt Henderson 6'6" | PF Powhatan | 2025 State VA | 6’6” PF | Powhatan (#61 Overall)
Henderson is having a breakout year at Powhatan and while he isn’t in a big market he’s got a lot to him that would translate to playing against any competition. He’s a new age four man who is very athletic and switchable defensively, he can get out in transition and play above the rim with authority and he can drill it from deep when he’s left open too.
16) Braden Norris Braden Norris 6'6" | C Westfield | 2025 State VA | 6’6” C | Westfield (#57 Overall)
Norris can get forgotten about on this Westfield team that has tons of talent in the backcourt, but he’s been vital to their success this season. The 6’6” big man provides a post presence on both ends as he’s a good shot blocker, he finishes well with both hands around the rim and he’ll go get his own on the glass when plays aren’t being called for him.
