Union Grove vs Tenor/Veritas
Under a new coach and with an inexperienced roster, Union Grove went 6-18 this season. Their offense has started to pick up some steam though, as they scored 73+ points in three of their last four games, including a blowout win over Kenosha Bradford. They have a very balanced offense, so Tenor/Veritas won’t be able to key in on any one/two players. Tenor/Veritas went 12-9 during the regular season, and they’re headlined by freshman Quintyn Robinson. Robinson is scoring an impressive 24.5 ppg, and they 5’9 guard is lightning quick on the ball. They also feature Kyrell Davis Kyrell Davis 6'1" | CG Veritas | 2026 WI and his 18.2 ppg, as well as Marquell Robinson and his 17.5 ppg.
Greendale vs South Milwaukee
Both teams come into this game at 9-14, and although the two were scheduled to play during the regular season, it looks like that game was postponed and never rescheduled. Greendale is led by high scoring junior Devin Isaj Devin Isaj 6'6" | SF Greendale | 2025 State WI and his 22.8 ppg. Standing at 6’6 with some added muscle on his frame, Isaj has the ability to defend inside and out, and has a smooth pull-up game with his left handed jumper. That size will be needed against South Milwaukee as they feature 6’7 Logan Laine. He’s been a walking double-double this season averaging 17 points and 9.5 rebounds per game. He has the size to do the dirty work inside, while also being able to step out and knock down the perimeter jumper with comfort. Isaiah Brown Isaiah Brown 6'5" | SG South Milwaukee | 2024 WI is another name to know on this South Milwaukee squad, as the 6’5 senior is an explosive athlete who can finish in a variety of ways around the basket.
Madison West vs Madison La Follette
These two teams combined for just 10 wins during the regular season, but have a lot more talent than their records suggest. West is headlined by their sophomore duo of Michael Wilson Michael Wilson 6'2" | SG Madison West | 2026 State WI (27.1 ppg) and Quincy Mosley (19.4 ppg). Although West struggled in the tough Big Eight conference, they showed they can compete with some top teams, including knocking off Sun Prairie West earlier in the month. With their high scoring offense, West is a threat to pull-off an upset or two during the playoffs. La Follette is another team that features a young but talented roster. Thian Riak Thian Riak 6'4" | SF Madison Lafollete | 2026 State WI missed the start of the season, but returned over the past few weeks and is showing why he’s one of the top 2026 prospects in the state. The explosive 6’4 wing has games of 34 and 32 points, but struggled during La Follette’s recent loss to West. If Thian can perform to the levels he’s shown before, La Follette has a chance to take down West in the opening round of regionals.
The Prairie School vs Williams Bay
You may look at the score from when these teams met in November and figure Prairie should be a lock to win this game. But last year we saw TPS win big in November before being upset by Williams Bay in regionals. Williams Bay will look to make that happen again this season, but will have to get by LaTrevion Fenderson to do so. Fenderson is one of the best young prospects in the state, as he features a combination of size, strength, athleticism, and skill that is matched by only a handful of players across Wisconsin. He can dominate a game inside with his rebounding and finishing, or step out on the perimeter and break defenders down off the dribble. Williams Bay is led by Parker Wojcik, a 6’1 senior who’s been productive in the paint. He’s a consistent double-figure scorer while also pulling in over 8 rebounds per game.
Oostburg vs Catholic Memorial
Oostburg powered their way to a 17-7 record behind their sophomore duo of Jamison Zavatchin Jamison Zavatchin 6'4" | SF Oostburg | 2026 WI and Cade Dirkse Cade Dirkse 6'2" | PG Oostburg | 2026 State WI , and are riding a 5 game win-streak heading into the playoffs. The 6’4 Zavatchin is putting up 21.2 ppg, while Dirkse is right behind him at 19.2 ppg, and both players have the range to light it up from beyond the arc. Catholic Memorial is a very young team with 5 freshman on their varsity roster, but are led by UW-La Crosse commit Sean Ladwig Sean Ladwig 6'4" | SG Catholic Memorial | 2024 State WI . He missed last season with an injury, but will be hungry to keep his high school career going in the play-offs.
