A two sport prospect, Adams had a breakout year on the gridiron for Westerville North. Showing off his size, athleticism and hands, it’s easy to see why Adams had such an easy transition to the gridiron. One of the most explosive players in Ohio, Adams can tear the rim down and use his high energy style of play for highlights at both ends of the court. It’ll be interesting to see what option Adams decides on for his college career, on the hardwood he’s going to play a key role on a Westerville North squad that could win a district title.
A player I just got an in-person scout on last week, I just wrote about Temming’s game found if you click here. Not going to rewrite something I just wrote last week but felt like Temming needed to be included in this article, hit all the main bullet points in my article last week.

Glass is a late blooming big who shows flashes where the upside is obvious with his size and skill level. Glass has flashed the ability to space the floor and show his skill level putting it on the floor and making a simple read. Defensively, Glass has the size and body to occupy space in the paint and protect the rim. Still needs a lot of time before being ready to contribute heavy at the college level, JUCO could be an option for Glass to continue developing as a player.
Another gridiron stud, Wells has blown up as a football recruit with offers from GMAC powers Thomas More and Ashland, recently Toledo became the first FBS school to offer Wells. On the hardwood, Wells also provides a lot of value with his rebounding and physicality in the paint. For a Pickerington Central team that has some impressive wins, the size and scrappy style Wells plays with brings an edge that they need. Wells and Adams could square off in the playoffs, a good big man battle between two of the more athletic guys in Ohio.

Shilling recently broke the East Canton school record for points in a game with 45. Showing a ton of upside as a senior with his scoring, rebounding and blocks numbers, Shilling was a prospect who came on our radar at the Prep Hoops 250 Expo and we were fans immediately. Getting love from a few OAC programs, Shilling would be a mismatch at that level, as few teams in that league have 6’9 centers to match him in the paint. East Canton is a potential bracket buster in Division IV this year with Shilling leading the way.

Another multi-sport athlete on this last, Stamper has been a standout on both the hardwood and the diamond. Providing much needed size for the Middies, Stamper has the versatility to stretch out the defense and bang on the interior with his strong frame and physical style of play. 8 points, 5 rebounds and over a block per game, Stamper has been one of the more productive bigs in the GMC this season. I’ll be curious which sport Stamper decides to play at the college level, regardless he’s a name to know as the playoffs tip off across SW Ohio this week.
