Trying to follow in his dad's footsteps of playing college basketball, he has had a good group of people to teach him the game right growing up. It shows with how he plays, making high-IQ plays more often than not. This flashed when he fought for an offensive rebound and while double-teamed, he remained patient and made a good pass to his teammate, who made the three. The 2025 6'3 guard also flashed his high shot making ability in this one, as he made three three-pointers and he went 4/4 from the free throw line. He ended with 13 points in the game. His impact expanded beyond this as he grabbed a few rebounds throughout the game, came away with a block, played good perimeter defense to force a turnover, and hustled for loose balls. I lost count of the number of times that he put his body on the floor trying to get rebounds and loose balls. It was a solid game from him against a defense that planned to make him the focal point.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["2327980"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":["override_image"],"_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":2345477,"_player_evaluations_1_player_featured_image":"field_62f141137ead9","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2337853' first='Blake' last='Johnson'] made an impact in a few different areas of the game. He grabbed several rebounds throughout this contest on both sides of the ball. He played solid interior defense and came away with a couple of steals and a block. He also knocked down a couple of free throws. Despite only finishing with two points, his impact was felt enough to help him make this article. He hustled for loose balls and fought for rebounds. It was a decent game for him.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["2223695"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='2223695' first='Hudson' last='Franz'] showed why he is the #14 ranked prospect in the state of Oklahoma for the class of 2026. He came out of the gates firing, which set the tone for the rest of the game. He finished the first quarter with 20 points, which includes four three-pointers. His shot making in the first quarter was jaw-dropping and remarkable. He had multiple shots that were over a nice contest. His shots came from catch-and-shoot, off the dribble, and in transition. Not only did he knock down shots, he showed the capability multiple times in the game to drive the gap and finish over the defender. He played good perimeter defense for the whole game and came away with a steal. He finished the game with 28 points.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1678455"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1678455' first='Ciaran' last='Pedulla'] left his mark on both sides of the ball. He played great perimeter defense and solid interior defense, contesting and deterring shots left and right. On the offensive end, he occasionally forced shots when they had a big lead, but ultimately showed a high I.Q. He made the right passes and found open teammates. Played well off the ball and showed good back door cuts. His scoring impact consisted of him finishing with eight points, all of his points coming off of him hitting two three pointers and driving to the rim in transition to finish through contact with the foul. He missed the free throw for the and-one opportunity, but still made a big impact despite that. He finished the game with a couple of rebounds and an assist, as well. It was a well-rounded game for him.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1732799"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"[player_tooltip player_id='1732799' first='Drelen' last='Nero'] made an impact on both end of the court. On defense, he played great interior defense and came away with a steal. After coming away with that steal, he turned it into an assist. On the glass, he grabbed one rebound after another, making sure that the opposition did not have a chance at second chance points. Multiple times he scored in traffic, including going one for two from the free throw line. He left his mark in this game with his interior presence and rebounding. It was a great performance by him, going beyond what the box score indicates.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-65c5b5fcd3e1c"} /-->
