The senior is headed to play football at the next level, which tracks to the physicality he plays with as a bruiser driver and plus rebounder for a guard. He had team highs in 15 points and 7 rebounds, powering Edmond Memorial to the semifinals of Class 6A. While he’s good at taking contact on drives, he also has a quality, soft touch floater that makes him a handful to stop. Seniors make huge plays in March and he’s a big reason why the Bulldogs are still dancing.

left his mark on both sides of the ball. He played great perimeter defense and solid interior defense, contesting and deterring shots left and right. On the offensive end, he occasionally forced shots when they had a big lead, but ultimately showed a high I.Q. He made the right passes and found open teammates. Played well off the ball and showed good back door cuts. His scoring impact consisted of him finishing with eight points, all of his points coming off of him hitting two three pointers and driving to the rim in transition to finish through contact with the foul. He missed the free throw for the and-one opportunity, but still made a big impact despite that. He finished the game with a couple of rebounds and an assist, as well. It was a well-rounded game for him.

Pedulla remains a strong, physical and efficient finisher around the rim. It just seems to be a family trait to have the ability to shake off contact and make tough finishes look easy. Most of his damage on the night was done on drives with the occasion 6-10 footer as well.

Throughout the second half it felt like Pedulla was missing just a little something. He would make good moves to the rims, but just barely miss. Good looks from deep would just rim out. Turns out, he was saving that little extra for when it mattered most. 8 seconds left. Down 3. It was Pedulla who stepped up by draining a deep three as the clock expired to force overtime. In OT he also recorded an impressive finish though contact that helped his team complete their last second comeback and record the win. He’s a strong guard with good athleticism, if he can capture more of the magic he showed to close out the game, Pedulla and the Bulldogs could be poised to make a lot of noise down the stretch.

The game of the night probably took place in Norman as Edmond Memorial would stun the Tigers on the road with a shot right before the buzzer to escape with a 37-36 road win. The Bulldogs would get the ball to junior guard

and he would do the rest as he drove, found a gap in the defense and attacked the basket and finished. The Tigers would get a shot up but it was well defended, including Pedulla helping out to survive with a win. Pedulla would finish with seven points on the night but it was the game-winner that proved to be arguably the biggest shot of Tuesday’s games. That’s a great win for the Bulldogs going on the road and beating a senior-led Norman team.
