Zeigler continued his strong junior season on Monday afternoon, knocking down shots from the perimeter, defending, and creating for his teammates as usual. All three of Christ the Kings 2025 guards had an impact, as Jayden Ramirez Jayden Ramirez 6’4″ | SF Christ the King | 2025 State NY and Markel Alston Markel Alston 6’1″ | PG Christ The King | 2025 State NY were as equally as impressive. They’ll be a tough out for anyone this post-season.
Anthony just continues to produce- finishing with 17 points, 5 assists, 5 steals, and 4 rebounds in a win over Molloy. He does a great job of getting into the lane and making the right play and doesn’t really force the action too much. It helped to have fellow 2025 G Nigel Moore Nigel Moore 6’0″ | CG St Francis Prep | 2025 State NY and sophomore guard Troy Fason also hitting shots and creating in their own right, and in the end the Terriers we never really pushed. A rematch against Christ the King at St. Francis Prep looms tomorrow night. Will the Terriers catch the Royals for the first time this season?
Jackson has been one of the bright spots this season for a young Bishop Loughlin squad and he led the way for Lions against Christ the King. The 6-foot-2 combo guard showed that he can play the point or be the primary scorer for his team.
Small remains one of the better uncommitted seniors in the CHSAA this season. The 6-foot-7 forward was effective from the mid-range and in again on Monday night, being responsible for most of Molloy’s offense before St. Francis pulled away for good. He is quick enough that he can get past his man when slashing to the rim and has good touch as a shooter. Schools looking for a a stretch f0ur man would be wise to get eyes on Small
Highlights
Xaverian edged out a 50-45 win over Holy Cross to close the action out on Monday night and Hall was a big reason why. Equipped with a quick first step, Hall was able to get into the lane and either finish or find open shooters. He played well off of 2024 G Patrick Evans Patrick Evans 6’1″ | SG Xaverian | 2024 State NY and competed on the defensive end.
The 6-foot-2 scorer was impressive in a hard fought loss to Xaverian. He’s a rangy wing guard who gets off the floor quickly and can shoot it from beyond the arc. He’s currently flying under-the-radar but colleges should get eyes on him in the coming weeks.
