A do it all guard. Tremendous court vision and awareness. Shoots the three ball with nice lift and great rotation out of his hand. Very repeatable motion. Outstanding rebounding guard. Can post up other guards or even bigger players with excellent footwork and body controll. He just committed yesterday to New Haven. I believe he will make an immediate impact because of his all around game , IQ and determination to winning.

A consummate guard. Can score multiple ways. Can get to the rim off the bounce. Real nice fluid motion on his jumper from deep range. A Villanova type guard who can post up opponents and score inside with his footwork and creativity. Outstanding rebounding guard. One of my favorites in the CHSAA and would be a nice get for a D1 program.

An established two-way floor general who’s enjoyed a prolific senior year, Anthony was quiet in the scoring department but had his hands all over the floor game in the Terriers’ overtime win. Despite his small stature, he’s an impactful rebounding guard with his innate instincts for the ball and is always a high-IQ setup man from anywhere on the floor. A four-year starter clearly dead set on extending his high school career, Anthony showed his toughness and leadership while battling injury to be on the floor for his team in the deciding minutes. He fits a bit of an old-school mold as a pure point guard but is a safe bet to continue impacting winning for whichever D1 program ultimately decides to give him a shot.

Vere has been playing well down the stretch for the top team in the Brooklyn Queens CHSAA division. He is scoring the ball and running the team at a top-tier level right now. He is shooting the ball like he can’t miss. He is competing on both ends of the floor and he is playing like a senior should to lead their team.

He’s a tough finisher around the rim, able to finish through contact and create scoring chances in tight spaces. With a high basketball IQ, he always makes the right reads and plays with poise under pressure. His combination of skill and intensity makes him incredibly difficult to guard, as he can attack in so many ways.

Anytime Vere has the ball in his hands he is bound to make a highlight play. Anthony is an elite paint toucher who has great touch around the bucket. He applies great ball pressure and can come up with steals. Anthony is a no brainer for the low major level for programs who are in need a steady guard who has a winning DNA.

Vere has been playing on another level right now leading St. Francis Prep to huge wins. Vere is a 3 level scorer and has been shooting lights out. The other night he had 43 points vs Nazareth a huge league game. Defensively Vere is always up to the challenge as he continues to guard the opposing teams best player. Stock is rising on this young man.
