We’ve always reported on how well Hao uses his lower half to defend the post. His outstanding rebounding, overall toughness and confidence. Well Hao has taken it to new level the soft touch jumper from the elbows was always there but he has now extended it to the three point line. Off the catch he drilled a few of them.

A really good post defender. Understands guarding in the paint is about using your lower half as a strong base. Refuses to let opponents set up post position by meeting them early at the foul line. Very capable of guarding the perimeter as well. Offensively can knock down the 15 footer. Very good inside showing good hands and gaining position to score at the rim.

#15 Hao is an excellent post defender. A hard worker on both ends of the floor. Hard to move off the block. Uses his lower body as well as any young player to defend the post. Soft touch around the rim. Very capable of scoring from 15 feet and in. Tough aggressive rebounder.

8 points. In this game like most of his games, Hao just does what he does. A strong rebounder with a soft touch from the foul line in. He continuously keeps plays alive on the offensive end. One of the better defender in the post in the CHSAA. Has a strong upper body but understands to defend inside using your lower body keeps the opponent from setting up and establishing position as well as defending the post without fouling.

#10 Hao was written up in a couple of our recent reports. He can score inside. Does an outstanding job on the boards. He is one of the best post defenders I have seen in high school. Uses his strength and especially his lower body to make it uncomfortable for his opponent to gain position. Which is a great way to move his man off the block without getting a foul called.

Hao was injured and did not participate in the open gym but he will be ready for the season. Hao is a real good post defender uses his strength to keep you from the low post. Tough rebounder. Has a nice touch from the foul line in. Will be a player to watch this coming season.
