Some players are playing major varsity minutes, some barely play, and others are on the sophomore team. These are prospects that we have come across in the last year that have caught our eye who are worth monitoring going forward. Here is our Watch List 2027 Post Prospects in ALPHABETICAL ORDER. This is not a ranking! Got it?
Noah Emmanuel Noah Emmanuel 6'9" | C Whitney Young | 2027 IL (Whitney Young)
Emmanuel absolutely is the definition of a down the line prospect. At 6’9” the big man already has legit size and length. Extremely raw at this stage, but the upside because of his tools are definitely there to continue to track over the next several years.
Jacob Fuller (Glenbrook South)
Fuller made a major impression at the Prep Hoops Illinois Freshman Showcase. The 6’7” big man moves well for his size getting up and down the floor which is something that he did very well in that camp setting. Inside/outside threat as a big that can stretch the floor with his shooting along with finishing with either hand at the rim. Good offensive rebounder as well.
Hayden Schroeder Hayden Schroeder 6'7" | C Wheaton Academy | 2027 IL (Wheaton Academy)
Schroeder has been on our radar for a while now since we first saw him at an M14 workout as an 8th grader. He has shot up to 6’7” and is already making an instant impact at the high school level. Go to hook shot in the paint, can step out and hit a three, along with getting up and down the floor as a rim runner. Rebounds well in his area and has defensive upside. Probably the most polished post early on.
Alexander Sirbu Alexander Sirbu 6'6" | PF Buffalo Grove | 2027 IL (Buffalo Grove)
Sirbu stands at 6’6” and the five man is a force rebounding and swatting shots. Mobile post that is an impact defender and rebounder while flashing offensively.
Edvardas Stasys Edvardas Stasys 6'4" | PF Benet | 2027 IL (Benet)
Long and thin 6’4” post that can handle it in the open floor and passes it well for a big man. Lot of developmental upside and should be part of a tremendous core of prospects coming up together for Benet.
