Where should you go to see basketball in Minnesota this weekend? We give you the breakdown right now as southeastern Minnesota takes center stage!

The Friday Metro Combo. Hover around the Twin Cities with some quick drives sneaking down 280 into St. Paul. Take in the Fridley vs St. Anthony game and then drive over the Mississippi into St. Paul to see Roseville play at Cretin-Derham Hall!. Fridley and St. Anthony start at 6pm, the Raiders and Raiders tip off at 7:30. [player_tooltip player_id='1505462' first='Kenji' last='Asai'] and his 15 a game, [player_tooltip player_id='1296151' first='Antwan' last='Smith'] and his leadership plus 18 a contest, [player_tooltip player_id='1617767' first='Kellen' last='Little'] leading Roseville, and [player_tooltip player_id='1560868' first='Joseph' last='Mitchell III'] and his team high numbers can all be seen!

Weekend's Best. Alexandria makes the weekend trip to play Orono. Two top five level Class AAA teams going head to head. Here are the match-ups! Oh, we are not sure if we should include [player_tooltip player_id='1284138' first='Grayson' last='Grove'] here or not as he had the ankle sprain against Stewartville, so we went cautious.

[player_tooltip player_id='1946855' first='Samson' last='Hagstrom'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1579885' first='Nolan' last='Groves']. Hagstrom was the ultimate worker last weekend against East and the Cards will need efforts like that from Samson and others to slow Grove who is scoring 23 a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2025473' first='Bralyn' last='Steffensmeier'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1336696' first='Riley' last='Nelson']. These are the third scoring options for these teams game to game. Nelson is a tough player, Steffensmeier the key scoring wing for Alex.

[player_tooltip player_id='2118449' first='Mason' last='Witt'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1391203' first='Mitchell' last='Kauch']. Witt is the lead guard for Alex, Kauch is a wing shooter and also a good decision maker with the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450112' first='Dawson' last='Roderick'] vs Nathan Chavez. Chavez stands 6'4 and is a good shooter on the wing, Roderick is a stronger guard but a guard nonetheless as Alex is not big after Thompson and Wooley. This could also be Thompson vs Chavez as taller shooters.

[player_tooltip player_id='1572690' first='Chase' last='Thompson'] vs [player_tooltip player_id='1484016' first='Brady' last='Wooley']. Thompson moved inside and was really good against Mankato East. Thompson and Wooley are arguably the two players with the best chance to go high major out of Minnesota's junior class. They should make a great match-up with Thompson skill and strength, Wooley's agility at 6'9.

Bang For the Buck. This is the Southern Minnesota Hoops Fest. Four different locations to watch games just outside of Rochester: Kasson-Mantorville, Rochester Century, Byron and Hayfield. Each location seems to have one really big game including Mankato East against Stewartville in a top five match-up. Get the full rundown of games here....
