Wynja stayed active passing the ball to cutters, ready to keep the rock moving in the hlafcourt. He could play the 4 or 5 for this group, willing to crash the glass on either end. Wynja has rebounded the ball very efficiently, putting up 10, 14, and 8 in his last three.
Highlights
A strong forward, Dixon did well finishing around contests or through contac at the rim. He has no trouble throwing down two handed dunks, among the bouncier prospects in this 2024 class. His strength played a valuable role for them defensively, active contesting shots at the rim.
The forward was a constant problem on both ends throughout this matchup. Effective scoring in a variety of areas, there area few forwards with Jallow’s offensive versatility. Willing to utilize a large dose of crossovers to free up space, he is a fluid pull-up shooter versus opponents. Around the rim, Jallow got to finesse finishes through short floaters and high flying finishes. Out of the elbows, the forward was an active passer to off-ball cutters.
Velasco is a high motor forward who brought physicality and quick instincts on both ends of the floor. Proactive utilizing his wide reach contest and block shot attempts around the rim, he was a constant problem for opponents to score on. Effective stepping into jumpers off the catch, Velasco certainly adds another layer to the dominant 3A program. If space was take away, they were active swinging the ball, keeping it high at all times.

Overland has taken notable steps throughout the season, competing in their past two games in a one-point loss to T-10 Eaglecrest and a 6-point victory over Cherry Creek. Graham has been a huge part of their success particularly on the defensive end. Effective staying strong at the rim or closing out shooters, Graham should be a name worth following as a defensive prospect. They posted 2 blocks against Cherry Creek, at 1.7 per game this season.
One of the taller forwards in the 2024 class, Nellesen has recorded at least one block in all but two of his games. In his last three games, the forward posted 2, 3, and 2 blocks in those previous matchups. They continue to show value off the ball, either rolling quickly or popping for an open jumper. Monarch stands at 10-4 on the season, remaining one of the more competitive programs in the state.

Stecklein has been a dependable defender for 9-7 George Washington, 4th in blocks per game at 2.6. At roughly 6’6, they do well staying down on pump fakes, keeping both arms up to mitigate shot attempts. Back on January 17th, they posted an absurd 9 blocks in a win versus Thomas Jefferson. His endless motor cannot be overlooked, providing consistent pressure on the glass.
