<p>Covenant Day got a their first conference victory of the season with a win over Providence Day on Tuesday night. Elijah Green led the way with 17 points while [player_tooltip player_id='1373707' first='Tyree' last='White'] put up 11 points, six assists and five rebounds at the lead guard role. [player_tooltip player_id='1410267' first='Chris' last='Rivens'] finished with 14 points as well. </p>

<p>The Eagles got their fourth victory in a row in Capital City Conference action with a road victory over TAR. [player_tooltip player_id='854906' first='Quasim' last='Oden'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1076365' first='Steven' last='McLeod'] were strong in leading the backcourt to victory. Oden finished with 21 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals while McLeod finish with 15 points, nine rebounds, six blocks and four steals to pace the attack on both ends.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Gaston Day 58 - Northside Christian Academy 53</h3>

<p>Gaston Day School has a trio of sophomores emerging in <strong>Griffen Simpson, [player_tooltip player_id='2920964' first='Braylen' last='Todd'] </strong>and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2326447' first='Deshawn' last='Coulter']</strong>. Simpson led with 17 points in their upset victory over NCA while Todd and Coulter both finished with 12 apiece to pace things in the victory. The win should boost their overall rating in the NCISAA.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Metrolina Christian 43 - Westminster Catawba Christian 42</h3>

<p>Metrolina Christian got a victory at the buzzer over Westminster Catawba Christian, 43-42, thanks to the heroics of<strong> Jude Rutherford</strong>. He knocked down his 10th point from the corner as time expired. Junior<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='2531218' first='Josiah' last='Rucks']</strong> also finished with 19 points and eight rebounds in the frontcourt.</p>

<p>Max Van Weerdhuizen, [player_tooltip player_id='1864069' first='Isaiah' last='Sanders'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1931127' first='Jaiquan' last='Clay'] were a burden to deal with for the Bengals as the Cougars took home the 59-58 road victory. Van Weerdhuizen finished with 13 points, four assists and four steals. Sanders put up 12 points, six assists and four rebounds. Clay finished with 12 points and four rebounds as the victory pushed HPCA to 4-1 in the Piedmont Basketball Conference. </p>
