Harrison put the state on notice that Reidsville High is the team to beat. He took home MVP honors in the Day’ron Sharpe Bracket as the Rams went 3-0 and he produced 18.0 PPG, 13.3 RPG and 1.3 BPG. He’s patient in the painted area and difficult to score on as a defender given his strength and athleticism around the rim. He’s a top prospect in the 2026 class on both the hardwood and the football field to keep eyes on over the next few years.
Neal was right behind Kendre Harrison Kendre Harrison 6’8″ | C Reidsville | 2026 State NC at the point guard spot to run the show for Reidsville High. He sets quite the tone with his ability to be a pest on defense and push the pace on offense. He finished with 18.3 PPG, 4.0 APG, 3.3 RPG and 2.3 SPG. He stepped up in a big way with 27 points against Cannon School in the semifinals, including the game-winning layup. He’s another 2026 prospect with a bright future with Reidsville High.
Highlights
Cloer’s production overshadowed Orange High’s 0-2 outing in the John Wall Holiday Invitational. He showed he could use his length to be a presence on the glass and as a slasher while averaging 16.0 PPG, 9.0 RPG, 2.0 APG and 1.5 BPG. He didn’t have the strongest shooting performance efficiency wise but he excelled defensively in altering shots and forcing things in his favor. He’s a name for DI programs to know in the 2026 class.
Vinson is a name in North Carolina’s 2027 class who continues to climb up the radar at Cannon School. He had a strong showing shooting the ball on the perimeter as they went 2-1 at this year’s John Wall Holiday Invitational. He shot 7-of-13 (53.8 percent) from deep across the Cougars’ three games. He showed off his ability to operate as an all-around guard in their victory over Richmond Senior High with 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists. He’s coming along defensively and a name to track over the next few months.
Fowler was an All-Tournament selection in the Day’ron Sharpe Bracket with Northwood High as he stepped up in a big way as a two-way presence. The 6-foot-4 guard showed he could knock down shots from behind the arc and hold his own defensively as the Chargers went 2-1 in the John Wall Holiday Invitational. He put up 15.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG and 2.0 SPG while going 5-of-10 from deep and snagging two steals against Richmond Senior High and four steals against Reidsville High. Look for him to be a key piece in the Northwood rotation this season.
Page is another name who’s climbing up the PH radar in the 2027 class at Broughton High. Despite their 0-2 finish, he’s a prospect who should turn heads in conference play for the Capitals. He had a strong showing at the John Wall Holiday Invitational while showcasing his ability to handle the ball, finish in the painted area and rebound the ball. He posted 15.5 PPG, 6.0 RPG, 2.0 APG and 2.0 SPG and shot 45.8 percent from the field across their two games. He’s an active presence on both ends of the floor who’s just scratching the surface of what he can do. As he grows and develops his game, he’s another underclassman to keep track of in the 919 area.
Lowe is yet another young name in the 2027 class to watch for at Jordan High. He’s a 3-point specialist and rebounding presence who showed he can get hot in a hurry for the Falcons. He went 3-for-7 from behind the arc in their opening game against Richmond Senior High and 4-for-8 from deep in their victory over Orange High. He finished with numbers of 11.0 PPG and 4.3 RPG on 41.2 percent shooting from deep in showing why he’s to be considered s top shooter in the 2027 class.
Gibson and The Burlington School took a few lumps in going 1-2 at the John Wall Holiday Inviational. He still managed to show flashes of why he’s considered a top name in North Carolina’s 2027 class. He averaged 9.0 PPG and 4.3 RPG, posting his best performance in their opening victory with 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field and 2-of-2 shooting from deep against Southern Durham. He’s an athletic slasher and as his 3-point shooting continues to come along, has his best basketball ahead of him. He’ll be one to keep an eye on at a top NCISAA program.
Fitzgerald is a budding name to get to know in North Carolina’s 2026 class. He’s a volume 3-point shooting threat at Broughton High who was stellar for Broughton High’s perimeter attack. He put up 7.5 PPG, 4.5 RPG and 2.5 APG while shooting 35.7 percent from 3-point land. He had a rough shooting display against Cannon School but knocked down four 3-pointers against a defensive-minded Farmville Central squad. As he finds his confidence on the hardwood, look for his name to grow over the next few months.
