I’ve had a couple looks at these teams, but they were in a gym where my car stopped that night. Plus, they both have talent that coaches at all levels need to be aware of.
Let’s start with Sanderson. The young man is more than legit. He hears the overrated chants every game. And every game he pops off at least 20. We all know that Sanderson can score and he did it again in this game finishing with 32 points. But it was his defense that stood out. Sanderson forced a couple turnovers with his quick hands when playing nose to nose defense on the perimeter.
Junge was terrific in the game against Saline. He plays a fast twitch type of game that really works for him. Junge can stop and start on a dime and uses it to create space for his jumper. Junge showed off one of the better step back jumpers in the state. This young man should be getting interest and offers.

Goins was nothing short of electric against Saline. He led the charge in a late game comeback attempt for Flat Rock. Goins hit a handful of late triples that actually pulled the Rams within a possession. He’s an athletic shooter that can pull up in transition as well as bury a shot off the dribble or the catch.
Keyes is a beast around the rim. With the power and physicality that he can play with as only a sophomore, it’s easy to see why he’s an exciting football prospect as well. Keyes gets and keeps position under the rim with his lower body strength. He showed the ability to get off the floor with a late 2 handed dunk. Keyes finished with 9 points.
College coaches should be taking a very serious look at Alex Gillum Alex Gillum 6’6″ | PF Flat Rock | 2024 State MI . He once again showed a versatile game against Saline. He was willing to bang and battle with his size and strength under the rim. But he also showed the ability to step outside and stretch the floor with his jumper. Gillum is full of upside and could be an absolute steal at the next level.

Carr continues to improve as the season rolls along. He’s proving to be a valuable running mate in the backcourt with Sanderson. Carr was steady with the ball and made good decisions, especially with his shot selection, against Flat Rock. For Carr, good awareness and shot selection like that, equals really steady play and offensive effectiveness.
