Continue ReadingWith teams on a hiatus during the holiday break, let’s check in on the statistical leaders in each category in each class to get a better feel for who some of the most productive players in the state have been so far this season. Leaders for this article are from whatever has been input into Bound as of 12/26 at 10:30 am. (Minimum 2 3PA per game played.)
1.) 2025 Zach Driscoll Zach Driscoll 6'0" | SG Decorah | 2025 State IA (Decorah) – 59.3% (16/27)
Driscoll, a transfer from MFL MarMac, has struggled a bit early this season from 2-point range, but he has been fantastic from the arc, shooting nearly 60% before the break. A quick guard who prefers to attack off the dribble, he has shown elite catch-and-shoot talent this season in his new role with the Vikings.
2.) 2024 Benny Ramker Benny Ramker 5'8" | PG Waverly-Shell Rock | 2024 State IA (Waverly-Shell Rock) – 54.5% (18/33)
The Go-Hawks have been one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the state over the last few years, and Ramker has been the most efficient of the bunch to date. A 5-10 guard who shoots it well both off the dribble and the catch, he also leads the team in helpers, dishing out 3.2 assists a game in addition to averaging 14.3 points.
3.) 2024 Brehden Eggerss (Harlan) – 53.3% (8/15)
A 5-8 lead guard who also leads the Cyclones in assists, dishing out 3.6 helpers a game, Eggerss doesn’t look to shoot it too often, but when he does, it’s probably going to drop. He’s shooting 52% from the floor overall and is even better from deep.
4.) 2024 Ben Bockman Ben Bockman 6'5" | SF Decorah | 2024 State IA (Decorah) – 53.1% (26/49)
A big 6-4/6-5 wing with great size and a high, quick release, Bockman is one of the best pure shooters in the state, regardless of class. He moves exceptionally well without the ball in his hands and gets great rotation on his jumper. He’s averaging a team-high 21.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists a game for the #1 team in the class.
5.) 2026 Tyler Farber (Marion) – 52.9% (9/17)
A 6-3 wing, Farber has come off the bench to provide the Wolves with a bit of a scoring punch this season, averaging 5.3 points and shooting it well from the arc, helping stretch the defense for their attacking guards.
6.) 2024 Jason Erlemeier (Harlan) – 52.8% (19/36)
The Cyclones lost a lot of production to graduation and needed someone to step up and become a go-to scorer. Enter the 5-10 Erlemeier, who is not only a dynamic shooter, but he also leads the team in scoring, putting up 11.7 points a night on nearly 55% from the floor. He can get to the rim off the dribble, but is at his best operating as an off-ball guard, moving and knocking down shots off the catch.
7.) 2025 Stone Sibenaller (Carroll) – 50.0% (12/24)
A 5-8 guard who is shooting it significantly better from 3 than 2 (28.5%), Sibenaller has given the Tigers a floor stretcher on a team that lacks much perimeter shooting. He has also been a solid playmaker, averaging 2.6 assists a game.
8.) 2024 Luke Hardman Luke Hardman 6'0" | SF Pella | 2024 State IA (Pella) – 50.0% (18/36)
A strong wing who can score from all three levels, Hardman leads the Dutch, averaging 15.3 points and 5.9 rebounds a game while shooting 50% from both the floor and the 3-point line. He’s also an exceptional free-throw shooter, burying nearly 93% of his freebies.
9.) 2024 Dominic D’Amico (Xavier) – 50.0% (15/30)
D’Amico played sparingly last season for the Saints but has stepped into the starting lineup this season and been really good as a role player/glue guy, averaging 8.8 points and 4.4 rebounds a game while helping stretch the floor. He has a quick release and moves well without the ball in his hands.
10.) 2026 Hudson Lorensen Hudson Lorensen 5'11" | SG ADM | 2026 State IA (ADM) – 48.9% (22/45)
Lorensen is having a breakout sophomore season for the Tigers, one of the best teams in the class. He leads the team in scoring, putting up 16.4 points a game on extreme efficiency, posting 57-48-85 shooting splits. He has a great understanding of the game and moves really well without the ball in his hands.
