Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
An efficient shooter with great size, length, and shooting prowess on the perimeter, Bockman is a really intriguing prospect who may be looking to go the JuCo route before making a decision on the next level. He has a pure stroke from deep and moves really well without the ball in his hands, but the aspect of his game that shone the brightest in Decorah’s win at WSR was his passing and court vision, showing increased confidence in his ball-handling and shot creation, not only for himself but his teammates as well. He had 15 points on 5-12 shooting (3-7 3P, 2-2 FT), 5 rebounds, and 7 assists.

A 6-5 wing who is one of the best pure shooters in the state, Bockman scored 19 points on 7-15 shooting (3-7 3P, 2-3 FT) to go with 6 rebounds, 6 assists, a steal, and a block in Decorah’s win over Hudson last Thursday night. He moves exceptionally well without the ball in his hands and is always ready to fire off the catch with a quick release and plenty of range. The form on his jumper is picturesque, he’s always balanced, and he has really improved as a ball-handler, allowing him to take advantage of overly aggressive closeouts to attack the rim for finishes or to find open teammates.
