#1 Sioux Falls Christian (3-0)

It is hard to argue with the Chargers being #1. They took care of business vs. O'Grman with a 19-point win and held the Knights to a slim 39 points. [player_tooltip player_id='1503883' first='Griffen' last='Goodbary'] is the BIG man with great length and exceeding potential. [player_tooltip player_id='1390318' first='Cole' last='Snyder'] is the lead guard. [player_tooltip player_id='1390319' first='Britton' last='Mulder'] is not healthy yet and he might be the most exciting player in the program. Keep eyes on [player_tooltip player_id='1467167' first='Carson' last='Nickles'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1545638' first='Cooper' last='Goodbary'] as young playmakers.

#2 Hamlin (2-0)

Coach Neuendorf has his squad firing on all cylinders early in the season. Hamlin is healthy and they are looking great. Tonight they host Milbank. [player_tooltip player_id='1625191' first='Easton' last='Neuendorf'] is the best passing PG in South Dakota and [player_tooltip player_id='1331228' first='Tyson' last='Stevenson'] is a playmaker on the wing. The Chargers have plenty of other scoring weapons and their size/athleticism will make you weep.

#3 Sioux Valley (3-0)

Coach Vincent has the Cossacks running hot but that is no surprise! Sioux Valley has a tradition of winning and that will continue this season. [player_tooltip player_id='1266223' first='Alec' last='Squires'], [player_tooltip player_id='2233704' first='Maxwell' last='Engebretson'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1263164' first='Maverick' last='Nelson'] make about as scary a trio as you can imagine. The Cossacks have a great group of role players as well. In any close game, you have to give the nod to the Cossacks!

#4 Dakota Valley (4-0)

It is hard to bet against the Panthers! DV just wins and wins! Coach Kleis has his team on a 57-game win streak and they show no signs of slowing down. [player_tooltip player_id='1270366' first='Jaxson' last='Wingert'] is dominating and putting up splashy numbers. [player_tooltip player_id='1625208' first='Luke' last='Bruns'] looked great this offseason and he has proven to be phenomenal early in the year for DV. Tomorrow night, the Panthers play at Lakota Tech, which will be a good test, and it will be a nice way to head into the Christmas Break with another win.

#5 Pine Ridge (4-0)

The Thorpes are rolling and they look excellent. Pine Ridge is fresh off a Championship at the Lakota Nation Invitational in Rapid City. Taking home that crown is a great feather to put in the cap and an excellent accomplishment. The Thorpes beat Rapid City Christian by a score of 80-66, albeit [player_tooltip player_id='1503881' first='Benson' last='Kieffer'] went out with an injury. [player_tooltip player_id='1384718' first='Marvin' last='Richard III'] was named the MVP of the LNI and the rest of the Thorpe cast is no joke. Coming up, Pine Ridge plays Groton at the Corn Palace, that will be a good test. Keep eyes on the Thorpes, they are seriously talented!
