This tournament features some of the top teams in the southern Indiana including some of the top player to watch, which Brandon complied a list of <a href="https://prephoops.com/2023/12/bobcat-of-daviess-county-classic-preview-seven-players-to-watch/">here. </a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The first round kicked off yesterday with the second round starting today. Brownstown Central beat South Knox. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Scottsburg will face Evansville Christian and Brownstown Central will face North Davies in the semi-final games. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1879419' first='Keagen' last='Holder'] goes off, reaches 1000-point club</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1879419' first='Keagen' last='Holder'] joined an elite club last night in Morgan Township's win over South Ben Career. In his 33-point performance, Holder also joined the 1000-point club as well. The 6'3 guard recently committed to play his college ball at Olivet Nazarene, as well. He is having a great senior year and will look to continue to roll with the Highland Tournament on the horizon. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Terre Haute North gets road win over Evansville Memorial</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Terre Haute North Patriots had one of the best road wins of the night. In a close battle, Terre Haute North defeated Evansville Memorial 58-54. Senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1158180' first='Braden' last='Walters'] had a game-high 21 points while also adding 6 rebounds as well. Senior center [player_tooltip player_id='1578479' first='Tucker' last='Tornatta'] had a team-high 18 points, 5 rebounds for Evansville Memorial. With the win, the Patriots improve to 4-3 on the year while Evansville Memorial drops to 3-3. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
